  1. exacly, what seohyunjin pretty much said is an RB25 will eventually break saying it WILL break at 150,000km is totall bs They design the engines in testing to take an absolute bashing for 1-3 years straight running them right up to break point, which most of the time is well over 500,000km even with constant thrashing. The most common reason for engine failure is owner interferance (IE tampering, modding, boosting etc) and lack of maintenence.
  2. Man thats cheap! If the reason this isnt selling is because its auto, let me reassure people that this will beat a manual with exact mods
  3. I think slip is putting up the membership form soon
  4. Seeing as hes getting it imported its most likely that he wont be able to view the car in person If you are worried about getting a gtst instead of a gtr then ide be questioning the importing company/auction people
  5. unless the candle has forged internals But yeh, i know a few rb25s that have got to 200,000km without any major problems
  6. Either way, time for a highflow no more worrying about boosting too high then
  7. How did it turn out? Got any pics? I have some mates who work with stainless/sheet metal and are very good with making exhausts
  8. Check engine - RB26DETT Check numbers in engine bay IE - BNR32 Others would be the obvious, check the guards, attessa motor etc if it has all of the above you can be 99.9999% sure its a gtr as no one would bother doing all that to a gtst
  9. Guys, CES is one of the Best exhaust fabricators in Australia Goto www.cesracing.com.au to read about them All ive ever heard about CES has been good $650 for this; HPC coated is awesome!! If we get 10 im in definate.
  10. What he said ^
  11. Yeh im upto the Fiend chic on level 7 phark she is hard Such an indepth game thats makes u come back for more. No game has been made like this in a long time Its almost overtaken halo as the bext xbox game in the world too!
  12. Ive hit 397 but i blew the engine every time i think the highest ive got without blowing the engine was in the RX7 @ 388 Just get perfect changes and save all your nos to 4th gear
  13. CES split dump actually has a seperate wastegate pipe that joins back to the dump 30cm down, which eliminates the turbulence involved with a normal dump where both exhaust and wastegate hit each other. It basically allows alot more flow/less restriction
  14. Ok cool, i saw a Sard regulator with pressure guage attached to a 33 on the sunday SAUQLD day. Im starting to think now that maybe i should just get 550cc injectors and forget about the regulator all together  I know the injectors cost more, but the reg is just a bandaid anyway, and Sard 550cc direct fits arent that expensive anymore
  15. Ive never had a single problem with either Ultimate or Optimax I actually put Optimax in last nite after running Ultimate for the last 6 months, My car starts better and idles better with Optimax but other than that, they both react exactly the same at 12psi@7000rpm Optimax does smell a little more but thats cos it does have some kind of cleanser in it, although it would be very weak, its definatly there. Id would be great if one of them brought out a 100 octane pump fuel, BP is already making a killing off Ultimate. Im hoping Mobil do it, cos Mobil currently doesnt have synergy 8000 in QLD yet. Although there is hardly any mobil servos around anyway. At the end of the day they are both 98 octane, and aslong as you dont get a bad batch, they should react pretty much the same. If anything youd think Shell would be better, considering Shell is the most profitable oil corporation. meh
  16. well ill probably be pushing the standard injectors a bit so ide like to have a constant stable fuel pressure I know just the Sard regulator is about $190, unsure on the price of the guage Im assuming just about all regulators are rising rate aswell?
  17. Hey guys, Im looking for a Sard fuel pressure reg and guage for my R33 Gtst Dont know much about them, can someone steer me as to what type im sposed to get? Intended mods are the usuall FMIC, ECU, Hiflow etc with somewhere around 220rwkw
  18. Maybe we should try a group buy for CES split dumps, try and drop it to about $600 if we get 10 buyers considering the quality of CES and that its a proper dump and frontpipe with the seperate wastegate pipe then ide pay $600 in a second
  19. Awesome, thanks for taking the time to share your story I think it truely shows whats needed to get a GTR into the 9/10 sec braket, and how its definately not easy or cheap! So when are you bringing your ontourage of high powered GTRs to brisbane :burnout:
  20. Make sure you DONT get water in there though, as thats the main purpose of the cover
