how much power increase u get from 7-12psi has a lot of variables.. in a completely stock r33 GTSt 7psi mite get you say 130rwkw, with 12psi about 145-150 - + hard to tell

:wassup: Ofcourse the boost goes back to standard. Its the thing controlling boost, so when its removed, you no longer control the boost...

Back, cool nite, on my way home there was a crazy car accident on wynnum rd near shafston, 2 cars, 1 was totally destroyed, looked like it rolled a few times. The entire road was closed. They had jaws of life going and everything.. Not the nicest thing to see after a nite of driving

im with jimx, I was a little iffy about iridiums when i went to get new spark plugs. I actually had NGK Vpower plugs before that, but couldnt find them again anywhere so went on iridiums Mine are gapped at 1.1mm, and are perfect, ive never had a miss, backfire.. nothing I am running standard boost tho at the moment. To me, Iridiums make alot of sense. Iridiums cost 5x more than coppers, but coppers need to be changed 5x more than Iridiums. Ide rather change my plugs once every xx instead of 5x every xx with coppers. Plus the design of iridium was purely for performance applications. When u really look at the plug, u can see how it makes a better spark from its design. I say if you can afford them, buy them. Sidewaymambo: Where abouts its belperformance? And gapping iridiums isnt that hard, u just have to be gentle.

Yeh its nothing ben, Awhile ago when i was running 12psi most of the time it was getting a bit of oil in the throttle body, now that its on standard boost, i havent seen any oil in the last 2 spark plug changes. Im jus getting a catch can, easiest way to combat it.

... What do u call HSV and FPV then? Ofcourse they make performance cars, im just saying they could do a better job at it. No one would complain if they bought out a complete monster, because it would be few and far between thanks to the price. A car is only as safe as its driver. Cheap performance cars? WRX? I dont know what u call cheap, but a WRX STI is like 60K and is right up there in the performance genre. For the 3rd/4th time, i NEVER said power/litre makes a more more technoligically advanced. If you read way back to post 22, i state its more about WHEN it was released not how much power it made per litre or whatever. Driver; I doubt it, Holden and Ford only seem to be focused on making the cars they have now heavier and with bigger engines. The last project i heard holden to be doing was a AWD version of the CV8 Monaro. But like ive said already, at 1700KG+, why not spend that money in making it lighter, not awd. Even if holden released a turbo, it would just be a turbo commodore. :throwup: They wouldnt design a new car for it. And so props to Nissan, They went bankrupt making the R32 GTR. Now thats a company u can call the 'peoples' company. They spent so much time and money designing the best performance car for us, they almost went totally bankrupt. And because of this, they have sold ridiculous amounts of skylines. The R34 GTRs first production line was completely sold before it even left the factory. This is why me likey Nissan, and me dont likey Ford and Holden. Atleast ford is breaking new ground with the XR6T. Hopefully it inspires something bigger in the future.

The worst thing is he had bad cancer in his body, but his head was fine. So basically, his body was dying, while his head was fine. Isnt life lovely. He went easy though, fell asleep and didnt wake up.

Yeh they designed it so it could be thrashed around and used like a work horse, but still have the power there when u punch it. I like them, i just think it would be cool for them to design a new turbo performance car. Not like they dont have the moolah

Yeh sock is right, Aslong as u dont have too many bad scratches/chips, just get a professional cut/buff and polish youd be suprised how good the paint comes out

lol yeh i think everyones had those mement, thats what this site is for When did u change plugs last? Do that first and see if it fixes it. 9 out of 10 misfire under boost problems are spark plug related.
