LoL a buckled rim is not very safe to be driving on man A new contol arm is about $200 tops, new strut maybe $500 etc from how it sounds, it will be over a grand best thing u can do is take it to a good panel shop or suspension specialist IE fulcrum

Yeh, im not saying i dont like holden or ford, ive got nothing against them. They make great family and work cars. But in terms of a performance cult car such as the Xr6t, they really dont have anything that stands out. I read somewhere that they are releasing the GTO in a 4wd version. So what, it still weighs 1700kg, and thats the rwd version, how much is the 4wd going to weigh? Power to weight will always be the starting factor in a performance vehicle. Atleast the japanese know this and make their cars with this in mind. For all the money, resources and time holden have i seriously would have thought theyd have some more exciting cars by now. Ahhh the dreaded gutter. Almost EVERYONE runs their skyline into a gutter of sum sort during their life. I did Mine doesnt sound as back as yours is tho. How hard did you hit it? Mine was expensive tho because at the time my front bar was really low, so ofcourse the entire front bar was ripped off which in turn cracked my headlights and moved my two front quarter panels. I didnt do any suspension damage thanks to my hard teins All up mine was about $2k to fix, but this included some other things like a full buff and polish of the car, new front bar.. etc

There is a bolt horizontal here: Standing at the front of the car facing the bolt, screw the bolt out (away from you) to tighten IE it pulls the alternator further away thus thightening the belt (click on the pic, i circled the bolt)
