I agree, but the topic of the thread is how much rwkw for a 13.5 pass... And dynos are the main way of measuring kw
So can we agree on 180rwkw with a good driver and good tyres etc
They are fairly crazy on rolling starts, pulled nxt to a turbo ute presumably with atleast chiptorque etc floored it and he was just pulling slowly away.
I wasnt driving at the time tho so couldnt judge properly, Either way a 4L turbo cant be underestimated.. except for the 1600-1700 weight
I got a sealed odyssey and that baby weighs shitloads!!
13kg or something like that
- dont bother removing the rear seats to save weight, my rear seats definately dont weigh 18kg, both parts together maybe 5kg tops
Easiest and heaviest part to take out is the space saver
Yeh ive got hard teins, but im certain with Semi Slicks and over 200rkw that eventually a 12.99 or better is within reach after some practise and tweaking
yeh to be honest they couldnt have chosen a worse day to have drag combat (Willowbank)
i was there and it was bullshit hot
i very much doubt it will be the same date next year, alot of people have complained and the turn out was pretty small
yeh teckademics series is pretty cool, i got the Gumball 3000 and Mischeif Destroy Dvd's
They got a new one out from the gumbal in Europe, called Mischeif Invasion
Havent seen it anywhere yet, u can usually get the others at like Jb Hifi
Well if it was fine WITH the camgear on the dyno and the first few days or whatever then it can only be 3 things;
Cam gear has moved setting
ECU is stuffing with things
Or something has broken
Well it is something to be worried about actually, if this is what happened, then why didnt gavin tell melv and then dyno again. Surely wheel spin of any kind on the dyno would alter the final results significantly
Yeh thats the problem with dynos, they are good for a guide but not that accurate when it comes down to different dyno places
have u run the 1/4 yet melv?
