I know that all too well dave ! been driving VT commodore around for the last 3 months Best thing i beat was a wrx, it had some work, running 18psi i think it was. I wasnt even driving! i was driving around all nite, no one wanted to have a go, mate asks if he can have a drive .. i say yeh ok, next set of lights... WRX! It was a mid 20s couple Dropped over to see a mate a few weeks after i got the 33, his girlfriend had friends over, and let me tell you... these girls were more obsessed with the car than i am! I took them for a drive and everything Later that nite, im sitting at the lights outside the Myer Centre entrance in Brisbane city, and the group of girls were waiting at the lights! They all run over to the car and start giggling and talking away, meanwhile there was a V8 something behind me, he started revving his engine and trying to stand out, so about 5sec before the light went green i started spinning the wheels then took off. He was in a cloud of light smoke. .. it was awesome!! Was a little silly, but well worth it

You can take the Auto box to about 250rwkw fairly reliably, Ide recommend getting Transmission oil cooler to help, or get stronger internals in the box.. Auto transmission upgrades are fairly cheap

Whenever i race other skylines it doesnt bother me who wins or loses, because they are all fast unless the guy is an idiot, which seems to be the case a fair amount of the time

I need to buy a UHF radio, im thinking about getting one of the good transciever kind. So i have a scanner aswell, boostcruising i think it is lists all the different areas police frequencies. Would be pretty cool to be able to see what 'they' are upto for once. Cheapest one is like $300 tho

Oh yay! :kick: We're all breaking the law just starting our cars everyday in some bs way so i dont think adding blue etc neons really matters not like ill be using them while driving anyway Im 99% sure 'According to law' that you are allowed to have whatever color neons you want on, aslong as the car is stationary, the engine is off, and you in a carpark. That doesnt mean that 'According to the police officer' that its legal tho :slap:

Are the injectors the SARD direct fit ones?

Take out the Jack in the side of the boot, and reach down into the panel.. see if there is anything loose in there.. do it on both sides I thought something was wrong with my Teins and it annoyed me for weeks, finally i had a reach down there.. Found a small spanner, ball point pen and some other bits and pieces ! Took them out, and noise is completely gone

Painting the calipers is REALLY easy guys I did mine myself with no research or nothing, Think ive posted a pic in my gallery, if not i will, they look professional, thick and glossy and filed the NISSAN off perfect too

Hey Jim, good thread man Got a Q: Ill be getting my oil changed soon (not doing myself cos im getting a few things done).. I got a full 100,000km service about 2000km ago at gavin woods, but he used the genuine nissan 7.5w35 or whatever.. which isnt synthetic Basically i want to change to 10w30 Motul Chrono because ive got and am doing some rather big performance upgrades.. I dont know what oil was in the car before gavin woods put in the nissan genuine oil. I shouldnt have any problems with changing to the motul? All i know is a dont need any lifter problems! :kick:

Yeh watched this about a week ago, Its insane how fast the modified busa's are! In the one where u can see the top half of his speedo, he goes from like 70mph to 160mph in about 4sec then it goes out of view and keeps accelerating for atleast another 20-40mph easily hitting 300kmh+ on those runs There was one identicle to the chase bike for sale at Drag combat for $13,000 with 25,000K i think it was $13,000 to go over 300km/h in like 20sec thats maaaaad! :kick:
