    ^That may be it. Just a few words that I heard from a few builders when I was looking at getting mine done. The advice was not to go for 'serious power' with an unopened VQ.

    Cosmetically, G37 = V36 as they both have the L shaped headlights... right? Engine-wise you're right.

    Lets get back to basics here. The G35 = V35. G37 = V36. This is probably where you've gone wrong mate.

    Series 1. Sounds like mine. Liking the lip, reckon it looks good. Does the silicon spray give it a deeper glossy look or does it still look like rubber? if that makes any sense...
