hey guys, as the title suggests, im hunting down a working R33 dash cluster, preferably about the 60,xxx km mark (to keep the rta happy) please pm what you have and how much your chasing

exactly what i expected oh well, shit happens, now to troll for another..

hey guys bit of a strange problem with my R33, since i got it about 6 months ago every now and again the trip counter on the dash cluter would become stuck randomly but a quick reset would bring it back to life, about 3 weeks ago i noticed that once i reset it it stoped completely, it will sometimes rotate the last digit half way to 1 but it usually stays on 0, any amount of reseting won't fix it, unfortunately since the main km log relys on the trip counter, its not been changing which makes loging km's a bitch, anyone got any idea what this could be? is their a fuse or anything? all the tacho's on the dash are working fine

ill be their don't have the balls to put the 33 on the line yet but ill make sure i bring along my camera and get some shots

its funny that it actually holds boost better then the stockie ever did (even when it was working) at higher rpm the boost would be all over the place and the car would feel like it was coking at times, now its just perfect

piston in the stocker has seized its permanently open now

afm perhaps? no idea why the temp light would come on though :S

sorry, my mistake using the word new, its a used bov, new to me yea thats what i was thinking, its probably really made for 15+psi when im only running .8bar it does vent properly at/close to full boost, just abit worried about any detrimental effects the surge may have (damn it sounds trippy fluttering/venting )

im just abit lost to how its surging and releasing x.x guess its time to take apart the damn thing and oil the piston

hey guys, just strapped a new Blitz DD BOV onto my r33 gtst and even when the adjustment screw is on the loosest im still getting flutter at low boost and flutter followed with a vent, just wondering if this ok or if its going to ruin the turbo

Fair bit overpriced in my opinion, if you troll the for sale forums here you can find a great condition, tastefully modded 33 with a fair whack of jam goodies under the bonnet for that much, not to mention you get to meet the owner which can give you a fair idea of how the car was treated... I would say the s2 Mspec you posted isn't worth more then 10k... At the end of the day go for whatever your happy with though... No point asking the world to pick a car you'll like good luck in your hunt buddy! Edit: with regards to the turbo theirs no "limit mark" to be scared of, if the car has been boosted to high for to long it can become unreliable but at the end of the day the km's shouldn't scare you away, let the condition of the car and engine itself be a indication of the age of the car (can't even count how many 60k km r33s are floating around their which have been wound back to the shit house.
