  1. like i said, by no means am i looking to go gas on the liner, was just curious if their was a viable technical reason for the lack of gas powered sports cars and thats been explained fairly well out of the 3 their i definately know what my young impressionable mind steers towards
  2. if its problem is with big hp, wouldn't a fairly stock GTS-T a duel fuel setup of gas for general light driving and 98 for some heavy fun be a ideal setup? im a absolute nub at the workings of LPG so im obviously missing something as it still feels like a win-win in my books
  3. until you get a flat that is like i said, not looking to do it myself but was just wondering, yea the stag gas driver is was prompted the rare brain activity during work
  4. ah ok, so the limiting factor would be injectors or? lol i wouldn't mind sacrificing my boot for that kind of saving at the bowser! must admit i would feel like a complete knob-jocky grabbing that lpg pump at the servo lol
  5. hey guys, just been reading a bit on LPG and finding websites stating the minimum RON of LPG is around the 99 mark, which got me thinking whats stopping most skyline drivers from jumping on the LPG band wagon, 50-60c/L fill-ups sound like a godsend to me, not to mention the higher run would technically equate to better performance no? sorry if this is a stupid question im just genuinely interested (thats what sitting on a computer all day at work does to ya! ) thanks guys!
  6. god damn i've got a soft spot for your R32 x.x should have put it up afew months earlier and i would have been first in line to take her
  7. yea looked at about 1000 R33 GTST lips, most of which were a complement to a CF hood which is what i think im more attracted to so ill probably troll around for a Ztune style cf/white hood and take it from their cheers again mate, you've saved me alot of dramas with cutting that damn badge mount
  8. sorry for being thick mate but how much is this stuff going for? (wouldn't mind getting some to do my frontbar lip)
  9. yea mines screwed in place but the pattern is abit to big for my liking any chance you could get me some photos of your paint lines (like the white/black lines around that grill area) so i can get a idea as to where i should mark it until, cheers mate and thanks again!
  10. that is EXACTLY the look im going for! i tip my hat to you sir! where did you get that mesh from? bunnings? cheers again mate also considering painting the front lip black, any suggestions?
  11. nah mate yea might try it myself, worst comes to worst i could even bend the mesh so it comes into the grill alittle more covering up the cut completely and avoiding the need for the paint thanks heaps guys, ill probably try tackle it over the weekend!
  12. perhaps that light isn't installed properly? try pop one of the ones you know is working in that slot and see if it works
  13. yea im actually considering it, just as a guide, does anyone know approx. how much a panel beater will charge for the cutting, painting where it was cut, fixing those chips under the numberplate, and fixing a 10c piece sized paint crack on the front bar (from scraping on the floor and pulling the bar into the guard) if its not to expensive i might aswell get it all touched up and save myself some hassle... for interests sake anyone know where i can get the car paint matched? (don't think its the factory code anymore), do places like autobahn/supercheap still do it? cheers guys!
  14. just bought dynolicious, lol looking forward to some straight highways now to give it a test
  15. you get what you pay for mate, if it was me id definitely consider a turbo back exhaust, CAI, boost controller and perhaps keep the rest a side to save for some nice wheels? at the end of the day, whatever you spend it on, ull never get it back so just make sure your not spending on novelty's that you'll just get over next week.. for the exaust you want nice free flow, as little restriction as possible (you should be able to troll for some used bits and pieces to stretch the $2k alittle further
  16. yea mesh is definitely on the right side considered getting some black grill, replacing the silver grill and just painting the middle bit but don't really think it will work how i want it to, yea cutting it is definitely the ideal solution but i simply don't trust myself to do it.. im still trolling the R33 photo thread looking for ideas
  17. looks fantastic mate, mind me asking where you got the nismo decal from and is that guage holder one of those ones from ebay? cheers mate!
  18. can i get mine changed to JoelyMoley? keyboard at work doesn't have numbers which makes some mid-day SAU browsing rather difficult
  19. got my one might buy another for the ms's pending if she has soccer on the day any approx date?
  20. ill commit if you can do a sunday lol only afew suburbs from me anyway
  21. car is mine, same car as profile pick, just stole the photo from the old owners days, he kept his plates though so i thought it would be considerate to not flash them around without his permision yea abit cautious of attacking the car with a hack saw but might be what it has to come to also anyone have a clue how to go about getting paint colour matched? (car was sprayed before i bought it and wouldn't mind getting some touch up paint for those chips in the bottom corner cheers guys
  22. don't forget, sim cards used to be the size of a credit card..
  23. thanks heaps for the help guys! blocked the plates as the car in the picture is not mine and i don't think the owner would appreciate me posting it up
  24. hey guys, *see attached pic to know what im talking about* i've thought long and hard to figure out a way in which i can cover up that dastardly looking mounting point for a GT-R badge.. unfortunately the front bar/grille are one piece so swapping the grille out is not a option. Hopefully someone can think of some way in which i can over the damn piece to make the front look alittle more normal de-badged, figured as their are afew of these front bars floating around, somone has bound to have run into some solutions before thanks in advance guys! Joel.
