  1. Get a cat back first, then get the cat and dump pipe when the cash comes in. No point getting a dump and front pipe without a catback PS: my GTT catback is for sale if you are interested. PM me.
  2. Z201 for the 34 GTT Prob same for the R33
  3. Hi all Have an Exedy HD clutch which is due to go in the car soon. Where in Sydney would you recommend getting it fitted? And how much does the recommended place charge? Thanks
  4. i saw 2 sets at just jap
  5. IMHO, I think CES are making overly exaggerated claims, esp for a Skyline. S15's have tiny exhausts so they can maybe make that claim, but skyline stock exhausts arent as small, they are about 2,5" (R34 GTT anyways), so to make a claim of 40rwkw on a Skyline is pretty out there. Furthermore, do you think that CES really put their systems through proper flow and backpressure tests, I would imagine that just like any other exhaust shop, they just simply make an exhaust, test that it simply to ensure that it works okay, and then make design templates. Note: they use Magnaflow mufflers and do not design their own so other than the piping, I dont think theres anything overly special to warrant the high price. Get a BOS importing split dump, hi flow cat, and japanese cat back and you wont regret it. The only reason why I recommend this is because of the sound factor, japs catbacks "usually" have a better sound. Go for a Kakimoto or Fujitsubo and you wont regret it. Note: if you want something quiet, get an oval muffler, do not get a cannon. Also, keep in mind that mild steel is much cheaper and easier to repair in the event that you bend the piping or something, mild steel will be harder and hence cost more for you to repair. From what I hear, they also dont make the usual tingling sound.
  6. Sold to me, let me know what the price is for COD mate. Thanks
  7. Willing to drop the price a little bit, offers considered!
  8. dude i had that muffler before and it was almost dead quiet! that is a very quiet and restrictive muffler. I moved onto a kakimoto (which I have for sale) which is just as quiet, then onto a fujitsubo. Out of all, Id say its the quietest, very weird that you say its loud. Perhaps the muffler was gutted out? have a look inside maybe.
  9. Interested in Vol 89 for R34 GTT
  10. Ive got one, see signature. If you wanna make it louder, just get some pipe made up and remove the middle muffler.
  11. Cheapest I have found is 75000 YEN appeox $950 from auctions in Japan. Then you have to add on costs of delivery and commission from brokers, looking at around $1100. See http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...view=getnewpost
  12. The above that you mention I think is very difficult already. I guess the gain in a complete set of lights is that it is a simple plug and play job. Unplug, take the covers off, transfer the covers, plug back in. Its all sealed up nicely and there probably isnt a need to worry about water damage etc etc. Considering JJ are selling theirs for 350, maybe 500 is reasonable (i think?) Back to the original question though? is there any interest in these? Thanks again all! PS: the guy is not a mate, just a seller I happened to stumble across.
  13. Ah I see I see Bass. You're right though, I wonder how sellable the old lights are? Stan: I have just bought the set and am thinking twice about actually using them (other half thinks they are ugly), that's why I am posting them here to see if people want to buy it. Still waiting for them to come through.
  14. Note: $500 is not for a conversion, it is for the entire rear light assembly. The whole lights with LEDs in them. You can them maybe sell off your old rear lights. Is $500 then too much for a complete set of modded lights? Id say youd be able to make some money back from the sale of the old lights (if anyone wants them)
  15. Yeah I was thinking the same, but its a huge task to get done properly and to get everything lined up right, not to mention the electronics involved. Big headache and Id prob stuff up my existing lights hahah
  16. I believe taht the person buys used R34 tail lights, mods them, and sells them back out. Its not so much a service, but a product that he sells.
  17. Nismo ones and these ones look like this:
  18. Totally different, JJ ones dont light up anything like the Nismo Z Tune lights. JJ ones light up like below:
  19. Would anybody be interested in these? Not the genuine Nismo units, but made by someone who makes and sells these for a living and are very similar. He gets used genuine R34 tail lights, then mods the LEDs into them. Complete plug and play, no need to play around with electronics. It is the entire light assembly with LEDs built in, not just a kit. $500 Note: do not compare these to the ones you find at carmate.com or on eBay, they are very different designs.
  20. I probably could via a courier, but Id say it would cost around $100.
  21. What Ferodo pad are you running?
