  1. Is there a specific power output you are trying to achieve?
  2. I understand the second hate but the first one is due to instant messaging and TXTing (God I hate that word). People try to get as much information out in the least amount of keystrokes which is understandable if the input method is cruddy. I however have a more specific pet hate: those who type in shorthand because they think it is "elite"(and dont get me started on that). Plus shouters and the good old teenybopper mixing uppercase and lowercase. Makes it so difficult to read! EDIT: Spelling mistakes...but hey, everyone does it!
  3. I think you just proved my point though...Stock induction with just filter upgrade can get 257rkw
  4. Modding the box is a cheap way of increasing airflow(or more accurately unrestricting the induction path). My opinion is that a CAI + shield + pods aren't worth the hassle unless you are producing a race car(drag or circuit) because you shouldn't notice a intake restriction unless you go above a certain power output (250rkw...correct me if I'm wrong ok guys!). A street car or daily driver would be pretty quick at 250rkw...then just look at improving response instead of power. It's been mentioned elsewhere but I think it was in this order: lightest wheels, lightened flywheel, not too heavy clutch, CF propshaft(a bit overkill but would be noticable). Also...I'm not a real techie and everything above is my OPINION (I'm just looking at doing something similar to you too!)
  5. As the title says, I'm looking for a pair. The only one I've found so far costs $755! Any alternative companies? Also note that they are not the same as GTS(t) indicators...slightly wider to match the guards. NB: I've searched already
  6. Your plan sounds good to me, however you might wanna put an alarm in the stage 1 build! Also note that Stock GTR induction(airbox) is pretty good unless you are looking at big numbers but from your build description, shouldn't be a problem.
  7. Feels good to be included in someone else's gallery eh Frank? Felt proud!
  8. Samples were $50 correct? Doest that mean custom one offs are the same coz I REALLY want a "?" in place of the "S"...thought it would confuse at least a couple of people
  9. Thanks for the answer...exactly what I was looking for...now to find me some nice looking and light forged 18x9's that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
  10. Can't help myself for asking... boosd_r32_gurl...the car first or me?
  11. This thread has really good info! Keep up the good work guys! About the response skylines: Lightest wheels would be a good idea, as well as rubber. Anyone know of optimal size for wheel/tyre combo for light weight?
  12. Thanks for the info! So multi-piece rims are usually lighter than cast but is not necesrily cast itself. So the question still stands...does anyone have a webpage dexcribing the benifits of multi-piece wheels? Are monoblock rims the same as a non multi-piece rim? Cause I know rims that are called monoblock are really expensive.
  13. pics this way as well to [email protected] what offset are they and off what car?
  14. What does forged mean? Also I'd like to know how 2/3 piece wheels work(how are the pieces arranged) Or I'll settle for a website that has the info. I've been googling for about 15mins but I can't find the CORRECT information.
