From what i have found through searching, is that the gtr has a slight increase in clamp load, i think it was 20% stronger clamp load.

the spec clutch, stage 3+ set him back 800 bucks, but that was for street driveability, there are still stage 4 and 5 which are unsprung and higher clamp loads. i forgot the other name, but i think it was PBR, they make factory standard clutch, slightly higher clamp loads, and they are 550 bucks new, or you can get the racing version which was 780 bucks new. the stock one is fine and works great, but i have no idea about the racing version...

hmmm, on my first stock r34 turbo, i hit 17psi before i blew an oil seal. really upsetting, but i ran that for 2 years. now i decided to run lower and only hit 14psi. but this r34 turbo has that crappy plastic front wheel, which my other one didnt have. so im afraid of going higher. the first one i ran on my stock ecu, and it hit fuel cut at 16psi. changed to power fc and works fine. now run 14psi with stock tune on power fc, walbro fuel pump, split dump with 3" exhaust. NOOOOO clue on how much power i make, too poor to afford a dyno run

this is making me think if mine is stock, i have never had my gbox off, but i have clutch dumped in awd from 7krpm and it slipped quickly but grabbed right back. aftermarket anyone?

havent had enough money yet to get my one. mate of mine got a stage 3+ from spec and hes running 340kw thats single plate, no clutch slips. even done a handful of clutch dumps from 7000rpm. still holding strong.

hks hi power silent have no restrictors, i checked mine the other day, full 3" pipe through mid muffler and rear cannon. the mid muffler is pretty large tho, thats why it is so quiet, i can post you guys up some pics if you want tomorrow.

ecu is different, then the whole engine setup, turbo s non turbo, so some extra sensors in the wiring loom. fuse boxes should be the same.

i might be throwing my HKS hi power silent up for sale as i want to go larger. got 200cell stainless cat, metal matrix, 3" system with mid muffler into 4 or 5" tip. all you need to mate it with is a nice dump pipe. sounds very smooth and deep. and @springteen how will you need to get used to the car? it will still handle/ drive the same, except that your acceleration will be faster by about 0.5 seconds...

im running 17x7.5 and 17x9. you can run what you want, just make sure its the same rolling diameter. i run 17x9+0 on the rears of my c34 rs4s

it should be near your steering wheel, the r34 had it under the steering wheel/ dashboard.

you press a button and it extends out with a blue or green LED in it right? its a parking assist so you know where the front of your car is, can give you a slight aid in parking as to where your car starts, if you are parking next to a kerb etc

ive run 17psi on stock turbo lasted me 1 year of flogging before the seals actually blew and it burnt oil to the shithouse. core was still fine, no shaft play either. had stock ceramic rear wheel and stock steel wheel on the front. i ran turbo at 17psi, power fc untuned, 3" mandrel exhaust with split dump, splitfires, and apexi pod. when running rwd mode, i could easily light up 235 tires with NO clutch dumps in 1st gear. with clutch dumps, i could light up all the way till 3rd.

originally bought a high flow cat and HKS hi power silent system for epa purposes, but replaced the midpipe with a straight 3" no cat, cops dont seem to like it tho.....

my s2 stagea is RWD when i want it to be when i pull the green plug to bleed the atessa clutch same can be done for r33 GTR but on dyno runs, remove your front driveshafts

just a curious question, in regards to the ecu, what if your car was tuned for fuel pump, bigger injectors and e85 for instance, can they still make you remove of your ecu? or in general, what is the law in regards to aftermarket ecus?

hmmmm. i forgot what mine sits at, i know my 2nd gear tops out at 110kmh... haha but i think from memory i sit at 2400 or 2500rpm in 5th @ 100kmh. havent driven the stagea for a couple of weeks. so dont quite remember. but i think the 5th gear finished revving at 260kmh or so when hitting red line.

stagea and gtr boxes are the same thing. stagea used the gtr box.

hey mate, sure its a 16v? looks like a RV engine, it doesnt have the banana intake either. if its the australian delivered 4 door, its def a 8v, RV coded engine with the de-tuned exhaust, puts out 95whp. i just sold mine, i have spare parts if you need any. still got some stuff like racing head, supercharger, smoked lights and an entire engine and gearbox. in regards to your car, if it still sounds the same. i doubt it has enough juice to start the car. its struggeling to turn over. i could come and have a look at the car if your in sydney
