I see. Well i want compensation for the damage. Maybe some extra for the f**king stress i had to go through and time lost. Had to cancel my long weekend plans thanks to the cars damage.... Cars ride height is fully legal. I changed height literally that day cause it was too low. I swapped stock suspension back in. So it damn well has to be legal height. It got complied with them. I have pictures of rideheight, pothole, damages etc. i will give the next update on tue when i call the bastards

thanks for the help guys, yeah i was with 3 other people on the way to the city, plus the pothole had a little faded line marked around it so im guessing that the council was aware of it. i will go back tomorrow to take a picture of it again, didnt know the proof needed to be that harsh. the pictures i had taken dont show the justice of that hole at all, but since its an extremely busy street, i cant get a clear shot of it, there is constant traffic in the way. i rang the council and the lady there was really nice and said to take pictures and get receipts for all the work that i needed to get done to the car, incl towing and other stuff, so that they will compensate me. she dindt tell me whats involved tho in regards to how it will work out. all she said was to call back on a businessday to talk to someone in charge of that stuff, so i guess i have to sit it out till tuesday. but i will post pics up tomorrow to assess the damage thanks alot guys

hey guys, so today i had anice little run in with a pothole on the corner of Elizabeth st and Cleaveland st in surry hills, long story short, it tore my entire hicas system out of my subframe, now i have a toe in of about -50000, a broken subframe and hicas system. i have taken pictures of the pothole and the damage done so i can send it to the council asap. i got my car towed home to take a closer look, and i need a new subframe as i dont want to weld my hicas setup to the subframe. damage is where the hicas bar bolts onto the subframe, the bolts and holder are both torn out of the frame, so i cannot screw anything into the frame anymore. also my hicas motor and the metal surrounding it is also smashed and cracked. all this happened right after i just lifted my car because i found it too low. the lowest part on my car is the exhaust, which is 13cm from the floor, while the body/chassi is 18cm from the floor. the police has told me that the minimum ride height is 10cm. so technically my ride height is the legal limit. i have also bottomed out on another car in that exact same spot too, but this time it was a stock standard suzuki swift, 2011 model. so im only after 2 things, 1. advice, and 2. anyone have spare parts? spare parts are for a s2 c34 rs4s, so so the narrow cradle

but the c34 is different to the skylines too, dont forget. just cause some idiot says i just threw on a turbo and a power fc, thats just shit same old, same as if someone says it about a vq25. great fkn deal. thing is how about look i have installed custom gauge setup in my dashboard that is c34 stagea specific, or look i just got some carbon fiber lips made up for my "not r34" stagea. just cause it has a damn engine in common with the skyline, dont mean its the same damn car. it would be good having 2 separate threads. cause frankly i dont care for a grandmas m35 that someone just changed shit on their xanavi screen or cruise control issues. so bring on the c34 mods

yeah i guess. but even on softest settings. any coilovers will be more harsh than stockish setup. i mean, take out a coilover and put it next to a stock set and see the size difference. i went for a medium setup in mine, im only running 13kg/mm front and 9kg/mm rears. but i only have shitty 27 step adjustment shocks

with a vlsd, dont you need the hydraulic setup for the vlsd to lock up? the attessa pro ecu?

jack your car up and check under your rear diff, there is a metal case there, undo the 2 or 3 bolts, then you will see your hicas setup under there. check if your plug is connected. i bottomed out my ass on my stag and i broke the plug. never noticed that the metal cover had a ding in it, but i broke the plug off. then the hicas light came on and my ass was all over the road. so check the plug first

coil overs for track and aggressive driving. or a nice suspension setup for a daily. coilovers will be extremely stiff compared to normal suspension. unless you want it to handle better but want to give up comfort, go coilovers. or just pm me and you can come for a ride in my stagea as im in sydney, its running coilovers and its a rs4s too.

The rb25 blocks should all be the same. The rb26 block was a bit higher from memory. The main diff between the r33 and 34 engines is the head, pistons and rods. Rods were same length all round from 26 to 25 but the pistons were totally different. The rb25 and 26 had same pistons with a taller deck while the rb25 neo had special valve cutouts and was shorter. If you used r33 pistons in a r34 the valves will hit the pistons.

if you are getting a RWC any cat should do, hollow, big or small, 100,200,40000000billion cell. they just check if there is one on there. epa is different, if they do an emissions test you will fail even if you have a 300-400cell cat on there. also if your car is tuned etc it would not pass an emissions test unless it is engineered.

thats most possibly due to your exhaust, but lucky for you, you can get pills for that

arent the m35 wheels 18x8 +38? if so they are close to the same fitment of a r34gtt/ r32gtr stock wheel. they wont even fit on a rs4s without a minimum of 30mm spacers. (i run 30mm spacers and i still have 2.5cm gap between the tire and my guard) cant say anything for the rs4v tho, since they had a wider track they might sight a bit more flush
