  4. yeh the tune wasnt done properly as i said.... he got to the point where he could see there was minor boost leaks which i had to fix etc more to come will let yas know
  5. yeh like i said the ex housing is wats i think is holding it back aswell..... but ive seen over 600 with the same housing on other ppls cars so i dont see y mine should be able to. and its pulls all the way to 9 theres no problems there but according to the dyno sheets it appears to even out up near 7500 i dont know y he didnt do the graph to 9 i couldnt tell ya....
  6. like i said theres still not finished.... havent touched cam gears at all 20p still 5 pound to go and also havent started pushing the timing at all yet its still very conservative. and yes e85 is good shit so ive heard im only on bp ultimate because thats all i can get..... and yeh i wasnt exactly happy with the first figure either but hey its a start and im going from there

I have a turbosmart FPR1200 fuel pressure regulator for sale only used on the car for a few dyno runs. in new condition make an offer.... i have a bare rb25 head and bottom end still together comes with cam covers and sump just no manifolds etc. can supply both tho if needed. motor came out of a running car about a yr and half ago so selling as needs rebuild. make an offer. set of standard rb26 exhaust manifolds. make an offer 1 rb26 sump damaged still has a good diff etc. make an offer.
  8. yeh ur rite file size is huge lol.... and no its not a run in tune.... thats basically a half done proper tune i had sum minor boost leaks to fix b4 he would push it ne further...... and wen i got back afta tightening a few t bolt clamps etc the dyno had magically arsed itself.... i waited 4 days in total to get the car redone only to try a sidestep of the clutch in 3rd and lets just say we found the weak point.... believe this or not but a hks gd max twin plate slipped b4 the gbox let go..... so yeh i wasted those four days down in brisbane for nuthin. im abit down for cash atm so thats the tune its gettin for the moment until the clutch is done. still tho 402rwkw is still nuthin to snuff ya nose at....
  9. first proper dyno sheet 22p 536.3hp at only 7500 start to die off im gonna put it down to the size of the ex housing .81 single entry he still hasnt touched the cam gear still set at 0 both sides and he said he still hasnt started looking for power. still conservative nearly 550ks to a tank so im pretty happy with it.... response for the size turbo it is is quite insane aswell neways have a gander
  10. pull it out urself. get a gbox joint to rebuild it.... wen i got mine done i cryo'd all gears and new bearing etc the bloke told me its an arsehole to get 5th gear off em so yeh just a word of warning
  11. i understand wat ur saying with the (flat line) bit if its a factory computer i cant say from experience cuz ive never had a standard computer but dont they have sum sorta protection cut that basically stops the engine from revving completely..... my mates lil sss pulsar in lil fits of rage hes just hold it on the rev limiter and it would just die in the arse or as old mate says it flat lines as if the fuel or ignition had been shut off for a second.... not saying its the same thing but i defo noticed it.
  12. yeh sounds good in theory to start the car with the dash wiring out but wat happens if u start it and warm it up and it doesnt have oil pressure. yes u could hear that it doesnt sound right but its still always a good idea to be able to keep an eye on oil pressures

  15. i have a rb25 but will seperate head from block if need be bottom end. only problem with engine was it started to blowby to much for me to keep it so i upgraded and put an rb26 in my car instead. make an offer i have an rb26 sump still with diff but vehicle was crashed and sump was cracked. savagable if you want to re use the sump but mainly selling as a good front diff. make an offer
  16. yeh ur right there was but not nemore.... with the engine running i can switch on the 2nd pump and the noise isnt there nemore... needle on gauge doesnt jump or kick work perfect now and the turbosmart fpr1200 is working great... yes i did end up running that 2nd 1/2" feed now its overkill but its there so i dont really care.... and yeh im gonna be hitting around 450+rwkw and im only running 800cc injectors. should be fine i guess. see how we go. oh and yeh a 3/8 return will be fine... tis wat ive got and works fine..

  18. im not a spectacular mechanic but in the last 4yrs ive been one apprentice lol... ive seen quite a few cars come in with complaints of the same noise... ur mechanic probably didnt have the heater on when he was bleeding the system. if ur competent wen it comes to playing under the bonnet let the car completely cool turn the key on and turn the heater on turn it right up i should say 30degree watever i dont remember and if u wanna be double sure that all the air is gone shouldnt have to but yeh jack the car up slightly at the front or park on a slight incline if u have one so the radiator is higher then the motor crack the bleeder and keep pouring in water until all the air has stopped flowing out the bleeder replace bleeder then take the cap off and start the car let it get to full operating temp it will push out a lil bit of water dont stress and then wen the thermostat opens it will pull in watever water u have left may even push out a lil bit of air from sumwhere aswell then fill the radiator to the top and replace the cap.... if ur noise still persist u may have to push water into the heater core but thats a different story lol
