  1. actually if u knew nethin about this site (fag) wen u say C^nt it changes it to flamin mongrel....... turns out u watch home and away. now whos the f^ckin wanker.
  2. no but by the sounds of it thats all ur cars will ever do down the quarter.... fag.
  3. not a little job not a big job...... use the gtst mounts and brackets etc.... will need a gtr power steering pump. i made my rb25 harness work on the 26 computer and motor but its abit of work. so if u cbf'd just use a gtr harness but u may have to repin it to suite the dash etc. that side im not sure. but yeh if u have the money just buy a gtr. wish i did now but neways
  4. ur dead right. but also the simplest isnt always the cheapest lol. anyway ill see how i go and let u know how i solve it...
  5. wow GTRNUR. u know ur shit wen it comes to electronics lol.... even tho u said u explain'd it the easy way to me i still couldnt figure all that stuff out. i got a mate who knows this kinda stuff inside out so yeh thnx for the help. and yeh i got a feeling that the reg is wats giving me issues so im probably gonna end up using a sx reg. just off chance wat reg was it the 15404 with just-6 in and out?
  6. yeh i got all the wiring diagrams etc.... all sounds good in theory but how would i program it to kick in and out etc plus the part that i just cant seem to understand is wen i have both pumps on if i wind the pressure back down below 30psi it doesnt make the sound...... nethin above the noise comes back.... as if a damper is needed....
  7. yeh thats the problem i havent wired them up this way.... i just have the 2nd pump on a switch so when i feel im gonna stand on the throttle on the higher boost levels i just flick it on and then wen just cruising round just leave the one running as to keep the fuel temps down... or try neways. i dont have a fpcm running the pumps so i cant wire it in through that either.
  8. there rated at claimed 700hp flow each arnt they....
  9. all figures point to that and i dont wanna have to fork out for another reg..... and these things are rated for 800+hp of flow..... the sx regs are $395 and they claim they also help as a fuel damper to stop chatter.... but ill still be running a -6 line so wont this still have the same effect? im not bad mouthing the reg yet cuz thats the last thing i wanna change..... could it be that the -6 line just wont flow enough therefore will increase the pressure itself due to being a restriction? plus also wat i didnt mention is the reg has 2 inlets but im only using one.....
  10. but how could i really flow nemore then wat can come out of the single -6 from the centre of the rail..... im gonna wait till the car is started and see if the noise is still apparent with the car actually using sum juice
  11. i went ahead a ran two line one for each pump same thing..... only when both pumps are on and the fuel pressure actually increases when the 2nd pump is switched one.... i had it sitting at 40 just for test purposes and when i switched on the other pump it just to about 45..... also the noise will go away wen i decrease the fuel pressure down to 30 and below psi..... wat do u guys reckon? im stumped now.... it also stats to get pulsations when the pressure is turned up thinking maby that the fuel damper may be a needed item
  12. its not exactly the easiest conversion but its doable.... ive already gone through all this b4.... all gtr components bolt straight up etc.... the annoying part is making the attessa work.... if u can get all lines reservoir computer wiring etc u can make it work.... the only problem aswell is the transfer case fouls the tunnel due to it being rwd factory floor pan but thats easy sorted and if u wanna keep ur rb25 im not 100% sure if the stagea sump will suite i dont see y not but i guess get a stagea awd sump from the 25 version check diff ratios etc... that side im not sure.... its alot of work and alot of money... make u think y bother and just buy a gtr least u get the pumped guards looks aswell..... but yeh gr8 idea still. let me know how it goes
  13. it may feel a lil bit notchy because ur clutch isnt adjusted properly i had the same thing with my gtst.... im unsure if gtr have adjustable pushrods from the clutch pedal but it may need just a lil extra travel added to the pedal cuz sumtimes u may be lazy and not push the pedal the whole way down.... just a suggestion see how it goes etc
  14. ive got the schematic i dont wanna run it thnx neways GTRNUR.... im just asking has neone had a similiar problem with joining 2 pumps into a y piece then into a 1/2inch (-8) fuel line christ ppl is it really that hard of thing understand..... this is the reason y i never post question on this site cuz i get f**kin stupid replies and no information.... may aswell just bang my head against the f**kin keyboard..
  15. wen the pumps makes there noises the car isnt even started its wen i just arc out the relay to make them pump aka first thing no heat involved. i got rid of the fpcm because im using a gtst harness with a gtr computer was just a cheaper option with the conversion ive done, to much hassle to make it work just run to ground etc. both pumps have a one way valve infront of them. im not a f**kin idiot so dont treat me like one..... and no i have a turbosmart fpr1200 with -6 in and -6 out....
  16. i was told to put a fuel damper up the front because they reckon it could be fuel pulsations from the pumps im not sure if it would help but yeh
  17. no attitude implied there mate..... but u want attitude pm me
  18. keep on topic...... if u want a lift pump topic make a new thread......
  19. yes but wats the difference if its still gonna do the same thing..... ive been thinking and i thought maby the return back to the main tank isnt large enough to cope with the fuel flow coming in and out and maby its putting pressure into the surge tank which intail would be putting pressure on the wrong side of the fuel pump aswell..... just a thought....
  20. well yeh of course its gonna be puting fuel back into the main tank thats a given but for sum weird reason it makes the noises alos near the y fittings..... as if the colliding fuel is causing the noise..... im considering just runing one pump and leaving it at that for now and if i start running out of fuel lata which no doubt i probably will ill run another line and get the other pump working hopefully...... its just a very strange thing
  21. can neone else shed sum light on this situation...........
  22. i will be in the vacinity of 600hp maby more i could probably have run one pump but i wanted to run 2 just to have the extra bit there if its needed... on 1/2line should be plenty enough to do the job.... if it comes down to it im just gonna have to put in 2 3/8 lines. just means ive wasted alot of money on y fittings.... and no it wouldnt be the fuel pushing itself back into the surge its a 4lt surge so its gots plenty of juice to circulate.
  23. ok heres how the story goes. ive got 2 bosch 044 pump feeding off a 4lt surge tank. they lead off to twin -8 lines then aare joined into one at a -8 y piece i then have -8 all the way to the front with an inline filter (earls screen type) which then joins onto another y piece then to twin -6 lines to each side of the rail.... hardline all the way till i reach the -6 area. now the problem is wen i have both pumps running i have this very strange like choof choof choof noise coming from sumwhere its very hard to locate as the pumps are so loud but as soon as i switch it back to one pump the noise goes away. im very worried that the pumps are fighting each other or sumthin at the y pieces or there is sumthin goin on with fuel pulsation or sumthin because i dont have a damper like the factory cars do. has neone had a similiar problem or neone know how i could resolve this issue?
