  1. Where in Sydney are you located/looking at the car?
  2. Got the XD9's on my car now, fronts are 18x9 +20 rears are 18x10 +18 (thanks to alr33x and joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo's recommendations!). Rear guards were pretty stuffed though from apparent (poorly done) old crash repairs on the right rear so the paint is all majorly cracked around the guard from being rolled next stop paint shop/panel beater it seems, probably need to flare the rears a bit anyway.... Anyway here they are in glorious shoddy camera phone form
  3. Yeah it was just one of the bolts towards the middle of the car on mine.. Shocker.. But all done now they look awesome
  4. Picked mine up today and got them on eventually.. I only had problems with one of the mounting points on each, along the slanted corner which I managed to snap off on one (which made it easier to saw about 5mm off!) and sawed the same off the other without snapping it off. Also had to use different screws but not a problem really. My FMIC piping was the worst problem I had, trying to get a bolt off where it was right in the way. Oddly the bolts on one side were 10mm the other side were 8mm.. Hmmm.
  5. thanks heaps guys, hamish do you have any photo's of the xd9's on your car?
  6. fellas, been looking at buying some Work xd9's and i'm trying to figure out which widths and offsets would be best, looking for them to be flush with the guards. No guard work done now but willing to do whatever really (camber, rolling, pulling).. I've been 'researching' as best i can but can't wrap my head around damn offsets. Narrowed it down to either: F 18x9 +20 R 18x10+18 OR F 18x9 +30 R 18x10 +38. Seeing as im still pretty damn clueless about offsets, what is the difference in how they'll both sit / what work would need doing for them to fit?? Cheers!
  7. Not too sure what you mean by Timeslips but I can't see Trader Ratings anywhere, not even on viewing people's profiles. When I click on Feedback (if thats where it should/would be?) it says I don't have permission or something.
  8. Terry, one of the best I've read has got to be this : Scammer scammed It's pretty long (5 longish pages) but what he managed to get the scammer to do was insane!
  9. Had a situation like this myself, the guy was uninsured but I just gave my insurance company a ring, had it fixed within a week with my insurance paying for it at the time, I assume they chased him for the cash after and I didn't have to do a thing.
  10. Saw white R33 GTR in St Peters too the afternoon, silver Stagea behind me on Salisbury Rd in Stanmore, and followed a white R33 GTSt through a part of the RNP this evening
  11. Phil is it easier for us guys in the 2nd group buy to start putting payment through to you whenever now or would it be best to just wait til the 2nd buy is under way?
  12. Am I right in thinking that there will be no team orders penalty should Vettel move over if he's winning, Webber is 2nd and Alonso is 3rd, if Vettel is not told to move over? Like if he just goes, I can't win it and we're going to give it to Ferrari otherwise? Based on his interviews on Thursday it seemed like he was saying should that be the situation, I'll let Mark through, without actually saying it.
  13. Ghey, will be out of the country. Next year!
  14. Yeah haha.. I've seen a maroon R33 only at UNSW.. There was a Silvia I read about during the year that was stolen from the multi story too, cant believe there's no CCTV or anything there.
  15. Seems like exam period = more people driving their cars to uni? Never usually see too many Skylines or other imports around.. Think I'll be taking my sister's car to the rest of my exams..
  16. Quick question on the topic of australian standard immobilisers, mine has one (that wasnt installed by me) and my insurance schedule says I need one, but if its ever stolen and not recovered, how would they know I had one? Back OT, S.A seems to be such a problem area with stolen imports! Why??
  17. Just thought I'd pass on information I got from a policeman at an RBT in Randwick this morning, apparently there's been a few cars vandalised in the area, particularly on High Street with imports seeming to be the target. The cop said that at least one was a Skyline (he thought he recognised mine as one of them) and it had its bonnet yanked open and engine parts stolen. I guess particularly if there are any students/staff at UNSW and are driving to exams in the coming weeks I thought you should know!
  18. ohhhh! i saw them but you looked more 'yikes look at that' rather than 'mmm check them out' hahaha
  19. Joel on the way back nearer to Sydney what were you trying to say at those lights when you were pointing behind??
  20. Thanks to all who organised it, was a great day will definitely become a club member asap and join as many more events next year as I can! Macpass was the best fun I've had in a while haha!
  21. A lady driving an R33 S1 plates ending in 007 in the carpark in my building..
  22. Saw a maroon R33 on Gardeners road this afternoon, either getting jumpstarted or helping someone jumpstart.. And a silver R33 a bit further up near the Eastern Distributor..
