  1. very very fine tourenwagen!!! love the rims.. good luck with the sale... hopefully one day i will be able afford a premium car..
  2. we all act tough when when there not around but deep down we know they have the upper hand...
  3. maybe.. you will.. you did spot me a lot that weekend.. I will be replacing the car prob round the end of the year when i finish where i am working atm is fly in fly out.. in remote NT.. But i think i will be in the market for a EVO 7 when the time comes.. Since the better half wont really let me mod a car anymore i figure an EVO is pretty sorted as a stock package..
  4. 59s would have to be some sort of record... yeah the old PRB goes pretty hard considering its only got a silvertop 20 valve 4AGE.. its had a lot of race history though and the suspension is very well sorted.. previous owner took about 10 sets of suspension to wakefield and had a day of running it and changing it till he found the right combo of spring rates... (my mate just needs to learn how to drive better!!) it was one of the first built with the aircraft honeycomb aluminium.. heres a pic.. yeah when im back in sydney i will be in the market for an EVO 7.. since i now no longer own the M35..
  5. all gone ppl sold it this morning... the stag is making its way north of the border to QLD now..
  6. 1:05 is a very good time.. my mates PRB only gets around that time.. i was getting 1:12s in the corolla.. that definitely surprised a few ppl..

    Wheel Studs

you can just go to autoone or something take an old one in and they will match the thread for you.. no thinking needed... i got high tensile ones for our J31 maxima for $3.50 each
  8. congrats!! or should i say sorry to hear?? you should turn a M35 into a masterpiece aswell.... since you did such a good job with yours..
  9. Well down pulling her up into the final corner... its always a tough one to judge how fast to go in.... I always want to keep pushing along that back straight and then i have to deal with the wall on the exit!!! what top speed did you get down main straight how did she handle the kink before turn 1??? My old 4AGTE AE92 corolla used to get 180 down the straight farrkkk it was brutal through the kink but.... praying i could keep her straight to so i could drop anchor for turn 1 made me think some cars are just not designed for the track... did you get a time recorded at all?? would like to know how it compares to other cars..

just grab some from spare parts shop they are always better then the standard ones anyway.. standard ones especially on newer model cars tend to strip thread from time to time.. aftermarket ones are generally high tensile.. there not expensive either.. (few bucks each but i guess thats $60 all round you dont really want to be spending) but as smokeyc34 posted the only real prob you can have is them being too short and without having spacers that could be pretty short if you rims arent fitting. and if you need tapered nuts and your using flats or vice versa...
  11. wow mate that is the nicest stagea i have seen and i own one!!! its very subtle clean and very looked after the next owner will no doubt appreciate your hard work and care!! good luck with the sale.. very resonable price...
  12. deposit taken... pending inspection as buyer is interstate.. will let you know if it falls through..
  13. deposit taken pending inspection as guy is coming down from brissy.. looks like the stagea will be calling QLD home soon..
  14. i know.. have a possible buyer maybe putting a deposit on tonight... fingers crossed.. its tuff times for the stagea's.. I thought there was a market for AWD wagons in aus i was obviously wrong!! Might i also add the genuine "NURBURGRING" badge/sticker on the back from my mates trip to the burger-ring may become somewhat of a collectors item if the ring doesnt get saved which im sure some company will.. anyway it has to add some value
  15. ah is it?? did you perhaps buy the nismo exhaust around july last yr?? the importer must have added the kakimoto just before i bought it!! p.s i love the gold too just hope someone loves it enough to buy it
  16. i never realised the wing was on this kit was aftermarket!! that means my wing is since its the same.. wish i had that grill it looks the goods!! actually i wish my stagea somehow had a manual gearbox then i would never in a million years consider selling it.. Its the only thing i dislike about it!!
  17. i am also interested in the cube as i regularly park my wife's in loading zones(only for quick stops dont worry!!)... the rego papers say wagon.. and i reckon it could almost fit more goods then the stag.. the whole rule saying there has to be a sedan equivalent could throw it out of the category but.. would that not also throw the stagea out too.. since the skyline is not really of the same body shape at the front.. especially in the M35 models..
  18. thanks just hope someone buys it stagea's aren't moving too well these days prices have dropped so much in just one year...
  19. I know the carbon tax is now here but surely you can spare a few $$ for a good car... heres the link.. http://www.skylinesa...ith-price-drop/
  20. I am selling my stagea ppls. why?? because i am working in remote NT and there is no need for the car anymore. Anyway heres the details location: hornsby area 2002 Nissan Stagea (M35 250t rs) 60 000kms rego till sep 2011 MODS Kakimoto cat-back exhaust DBA 4000 x-drilled and slotted front rotors RDA slotted rear rotors QFM A1RM pads on the front QFM HPX pads on the rear (brake discs and rotors roughly 15 000kms old) Pioneer head unit and rear speakers Other info: -the car is fitted with the factory aero kit without fog lights in front bar. -Replaced the spark plugs with DENSO iridiums 10 000kms ago -changed leaky left bank rocker cover seal (common prob with the M35) -replaced CV boot right hand side outer (had others checked all seem fine) -always change the oil and filter every 5000kms with Penrite full synth. just been done 50 k's ago -have 8lt of nissan matic J trans fluid to come with sale (i havent got round to changing the trans fluid yet) -factory Bilstein suspension - also have spare AFM bought it incase mine ever crapped itself. -the car runs very smothly never had one problem with it gets 750kms off a tank on the freeway. (little bargining info to convince the better half ) paint is in perfect condition apart from the little stone chip here and there and a 20cent piece size ding above drivers wheel arch(bloody carparks with incompetent ppl) paint is not cracked so it can be easily repaired and i have factored that into the selling price. interior is immaculate except from the front speaker pods (me thinks previous owner had custom door pods but didnt want to sell them so replaced with this crapy stick on carbon fibre look alike material. not that bad you can always source some factory ones) car looks the goods and will not disapoint. Matt 0427 371 735 [email protected] I am looking for 14 000 firm this is the one of the cheapest on carsales and here. price is low to accommodate both a quick sale and ding repair. mechanically the car is perfect. pics and the ding
