Plus the j31 is fwd which just made matters worse removing the plenum near the firewall.. And the bolts are always so bloody tight!! Anyway gonna do the rotors and pads soon prob next weekend am I right in saying the rears are xtrail and fronts are maxima?? But what year??

As topic states..its the drivers side inner cv boot. Does anyone know the part number??is it the same as the c34?? I read the c34 cv removal and boot replacement. Is it basically the same procedure?? thanks

thanks guys i do enjoy(well most of the time) working on the car, as i said i can do all the regular service things, brakes, fluids, belts etc. and when it comes to the more difficult stuff i dont mind having a go rebuilding internals and so on. however since im not a mechanic that doesnt get me any receipts, so like all my other cars the resale can be up the shit coz wheres the proof. But i think i will just keep going with the simple things and take it to northshore prestige or goodspanner for the bigger things (which i hope is not for a long time.) did the oil yesterday. gotta do the brakepads, rotors, gearbox fluid next weekend

Hey guys did a little searching and heaps of reading, but just want to know where is a good place to get my m35 serviced, i live in the northern beaches area but dont mind driving for the peace of mind it will be done properly. I do the minor stuff myself I.E fluids, filters, belts, brakes etc.. but i wouldnt mind knowing a workshop that is familar with this model for plus would like to be getting the book stamped for resale purposes. thanks guys.

^^ yeah i no i didnt know it came in that colour either. When i had the car inspected the report said it hadnt had any evidence of a respray only on the aero kit, all i know is i like it. Its damn low though its got aftermarket suspension on it, I was told it was the factory bilstein suspension but i dont think it is. I will keep an eye out for yours.. good to have something else in the car park its full of evo's there..

Funny thread... not going to get into the arguement... I had to get a family car and since getting rid of my wifes 04 maxima i convinced her into the M35. I love it, great car for the money, definately a more luxury feel then the c34 IMO but i definately dont see it as a sports car, it is definately is trying to tell me otherwise when i plant the right foot though

im from northern beaches area.. havnt seen many M35's myself apart from a gold ARX this morning on monavale rd at the intersection with forestway bout 11:30am

just picked up my m35 last monday.. i get this noise too.. heard it while driving into sydney the other night.. freaked me out thought something bad is wrong and i had bought a lemon. So hit the pedal again to listen for it once more nothing?? that was full boost through a couple of gears. but i get it when i feather the throttle as you guys have previously mentioned. i will look into the remedies suggested. i have a kakimoto cat back exhaust no aftermarket filter panel

these guys called me back last night regarding a few m35's they were getting out of customs, that i was interested in.. i was a little sus coz of price factor sometimes it seems to good to be true.. glad i bought mine elsewhere!! however i am still in the early days...... fingers crossed so far so good with mine..
