  1. Yeah I was up taking my nana out for lunch.. I have just moved to the hornsby area so may so you round more often.. Spotted a black arx this arvo with roof racks and aftermarket rims.. I'm guessing someones wife was driving.. Anyways it was about 4pm today monavale going past merc dealership..
  2. nice rims.. want to see pic soon plus this will give me a good indication of how wide i can go on mine!! P.S you have trained your wife well.. im yet to aquire the brainwashing skills
  3. exchanged waves and flashes with an gold arx today outside the lakes beach budgiewoi... nice car!!
  4. I am but brother lives down your way.. I had a goos thought i know i wont regret it but i think im just gonna wait till my rubber wears out and get some 19s then.. sorry dude.. plus i need to put some money toward this dump pipe im hopefully getting..
  5. There is a thread on here to teach u how to program yourself so any of the key stubs with same shape should work.. There is no transponder in our ingnition.. I am using a cube key as my second.. I asked the importer I bought the car off for another.. If you do this see if you can get one with all the key ridges higher then you original that way a locksmith can shave it down to your size and you will have a perfect replica..
  6. Sounds good as time is what I need.. Put me down for a yes..
  7. I will be in.. However approx when do you require payment.. I just bought a unit so monies are not just lying around for me anymore.. I need to really plan my mods.. If it's not for a few weeks I'm definately in..
  8. just did my one the other week had the same smell you speak of!! check with a torch at the rear of the passenger cam seal you will prob see a liitle seepage.. replacing is a little bit of a bitch due to the space you have to work with.. and bit and pieces you need to move.. if you have a uni-joint socket adapter it will be your best friend for removing all the cam cover bolts.. and be sure to be careful not to damage the sparkplug valley seals. (i applied some dirko to one of mine as the spark plug was swimming in oil) the part cost me $27 from col crawford nissan brookvale 2 days but thats coz it came from WA. all this is pending thats the problem.. goodluck!!
  9. Im thinking bout it... just dont know if i get these will i regret not getting 19's... maybe i will flip a coin!! will let you know my choice asap.
  10. I was thinking of dropping in some of the new penrite full syth range they have realesed.. You can get all different weights, I hav normally steered clear coz most fully synth oils are too light for my liking...
  11. im insured with NRMA with my M35 250t rs including window replacement and hire car, im paying 1150 im 26 northern beaches.. i think its a awesome deal considering if i smash 2 windows i would have made my money almost... ii'd hate to know what a rear window would be worth if i was paying!!!
  12. I bought the matic-J oil the other day was gonna do it myself today.. from the info i have found dropping the oil out the drain plug will only remove half then i can just top back up the exact amount i removed. Or should i take it to a mech and get them to flush and fill with full amount?? im only asking coz i found mixed results, some saying not good to flush the system(unwanted pressure..etc) and others saying not good to just drain as your not removing all the old stuff.. I just want to know what others have done. either way im happy to do myself, or take to mech as i have bought the expensive stuff.... matic-J is like the cost of liquid gold. thanks sorry to start new thread.. but the M35 info one is getting massive and without categories gets hard to find stuff..
  13. exchanged waves with a gold arx in wahroonga today!! are you on the forums??
  14. does anyone know how much ARX springs cost?? im thinking they will be a better solution to my height issues.. or is anyones custom exhaust mounted closer then the aftermarket ones?? my kakimoto is just too low.. im not used to the way nissans exhausts drag along the ground having come from the toyota side of the border...
  15. Spotted a red c34 it parked behind me in the city tonight near elizabeth st about 9pm
  16. I too thought it looked black but chris said it wasn't!! Either way it doesn't matter
  17. even though the interior isnt black i will still take the front speaker covers.. i will just paint them, i think that will be faster then waiting for a black interior to be parted!!!! So for me.. Weather shields (pending price) front speaker covers (definately want them, but dont be rude on the price!!) thanks
  18. My bad.. I think I will look into the bc's then what is their cost and who is the best supplier?? And are they servicable?? I do want something that will last..
  19. im over having coilovers.. got them in my corolla, bit over the stiffness!! plus the stag is the wifes daily dont think she will enjoy the buddy clubs as much as i would.. does anyone no off hand what the spring rates are on the bilstien springs coz i am looking at tanabe's for the V35 which only lower 1.1" on the front and 0.9" on the back with spring rates of F/R 6.1/5.5 however im thinking the arse end of the stag will need stiffer!!!!
  20. mine has been getting punished... it stupid low i dont know how everyone is getting round with lower kits on theirs, How low did yours sit with the v35 springs?? So if your saying the V35, 350z fit in perfectly, well that will give me a start i can get a cheap set of stock 350 springs and give them to a spring place as a base to make some for me..
  21. i think getting some made would be the best way as i can get the right height and spring rate... However im sure they cant be much different to the J31 maxima as the maxima has the same style of separate shock and spring in the back and when we used to own the maxima the shocks and springs look very similar.. time to start researching i think.. thanks anyways..
  22. by looking thats what i would have thought, but nissan asked me if i wanted them. maybe the whole cover gets changed as it only seems to be a plastic composite material..
  23. DIRKO!!! it should be ok but.. i cant see it being any worse.. When i ordered the rocker cover seal from nissan they asked me if i wanted the spark plug seals, silly me said no, so you can get them i just said no. To me they look identical size to the VQ35DE ones so maybe they fit?? can anyone confirm..
