blacked out the headlights today, had to take the left one out to fix the seal as i saw condensation in there other day.. and thought while im at it may as well get the blacking out of the way.. I love the look.. did the oil and filter aswell.. once i put it all back together my engine check light came on.. anyone have any thoughts as of why?? im thinking when i moved the airbox and bumped the A/F meter just the usual amount when moving nothing violent.. it shoudnt be to do with the lights right?? anyways enough work for today i will run diagnostics tomoro.. see what i find.. car runs fine no different at all.. anyway pics sorry for the bad pics its the iphone 4 in a carpark... never a good combo!!

that would be mine sitting around waiting for me to finish work... you might have also noticed the 50cent piece size ding someone put in her above the drivers side front wheel arch... inconsiderate .......................!! some people are.. its anoying since my wifes nissan cube copped a carpark ding the other day to!!

@zei20l dont worry mate i didnt take any offense just got worried about adapting NOOB status!! i have used flushes a few times.. i do worry that not all the flush is coming out!! but thats why i have only used a few times..

^^ ok let me rephrase it is definately darker just not sludgy like some lower line oils come out.. Full synth oils definately come out cleaner after 5000kms then a semi/ mineral base since there meant for longer use. U can't argue that. I'm not saying it makes an oil better or worse it's just a fact.

^^ I knew this too but at the time I changed all my pads and rotors there was no way I was in the mood to do it a second time to change pads later on!! As for this vq35DE.....T?? I would love to see pics too you can't keep us on edge like this we need a fix!!!

I use the penrite full synth 5w30 it comes in around $50 and after 5 to 6 thousand kms it's still smooth running and not too dark when drained.. I've been using penrite for years Now since all my 4AGE modding days and never had any probs never saw any build- up and deposits when pulling apart engines. That's just my 2cents..

Anyway heres the details 2002 Nissan Stagea (M35 250t rs) 50 000kms rego till march MODS Kakimoto cat-back exhaust DBA 4000 x-drilled and slotted front rotors RDA slotted rear rotors QFM A1RM pads on the front QFM HPX pads on the rear (brake discs and rotors only 10 000kms old) Pioneer head unit and rear speakers Other info: -the car is fitted with the factory aero kit without fog lights in front bar. -Replaced the spark plugs with DENSO iridiums 3000kms ago -changed leaky left bank rocker cover seal (common prob with the M35) -replaced CV boot right hand side outer (had others checked all seem fine) -always change the oil and filter every 5000kms with Penrite full synth. -have 8lt of nissan matic J trans fluid to come with sale (i havent got round to changing the trans fluid yet) -factory Bilstein suspension -the car runs very smothly never had one problem with it gets 750kms off a tank on the freeway. (little bargining info to convince the better half ) paint is in perfect condition apart from the little stone chip here and there. interior is immaculate except from the front speaker pods (me thinks previous owner had custom door pods but didnt want to sell them so replaced with this crapy stick on carbon fibre look alike material. not that bad you can always source some factory ones) car looks the goods and will not disapoint. NRMA fully comp with window protection for $20 000 is $1150 for me in my wifes name me on policy.. she's 28 im 26. whats crazy is her nissan cube 2003 model full comp window protection is $1050 insured for $10 500 its only a 1.4l small car.. they need to revamp the whole system.

personally i love the yellow keeps it retro and JDM.. and yes way better in the fog.. back in my 4WDing days i used to have the yellow covers for my lightforce spotties on my patrol when the fog was heavy they made so much difference.. I have the switch your talking about on my light toggle, i dont have fog lights in my bar though i have xenon low beam and the high beam globes are yellow fog lights at low beam and white at high beam. complicated but it works well..

im still intersted and the time factor is fine as i exceeded my chrissy budget, and am still yet to have my massive NYE in melbourne.. :wacko: so i will be breaking the piggy bank to pay for this!!!!

I get between 450-550 city and I have got 800 out of one tank kept it at 100-110kph but.. At 120-130kph its about 650.. Installed the new head unit and sub into the cargo storage.. Much better sound now.. Whilst doing that realized the muppets that drilled the holes for the child restraints didnt silicone it properly now I have leaks in the rear area.. So anoying..

^^ just before u start the race there is an options tab there u change to different tyres front and back there pending ur car has them.. Stag definatly need hard on the back to stop the understeer I have googled the stigs lap times and been running cars round the top gear track to compare..

Check te passenger side rocker cover toward the rear.. Common prob.. Mine was leaking a little.. Got $$ off my sale price.. The oil can slowly leak out there and run onto the turbo area causing the burning smell.. Nissan should be able to get u the gasket no probs cost me $26 As state roads told u it may be the turbo that's just coz the smell and or smoke generally comes from that area but it's so hard to see specifically. They told me the same thing.. If that's not the prob keep looking and make sure ur oil levels are always good.. See how u go..

Threw in the denso iridiums(thanks eBay $53.00) yesterday arvo.. And the the oil, filter, air filter.. Definately a different wavelength to the mods everyone else is accomplishing!!

Wishing there was a m35 I heard there was talk of the kids heart gtr front kitted one making an appearance but it didn't.. So I had to settle for the autech 260rs.. Comfort tyres on the rear racing soft on the front just to control the chronic understeer!! Im loving the attention to detail on the ferrari's however anyone else own one yet?? I couldn't resist.. Spent all my special event cash on one!!!

Never really scrape the tip on the kakimoto just the flange under the middle of the car.. But I think the lowness is due to the bilstein springs and 17" rims..

I have seen her driving round Hornsby she gave me a death stare when she drove past me!! I gave back the "same team" stare..

I've got the kakimoto.. With standard 17" rims and bilstein suspension.. All I ever do is try to avoid scraping.. It's so damn low!! The main prob is the long wheel base the stag has. However the performance is good the sound is quite nice not to loud when cruising which is needed when My Wife drives the car!! I like it but need to source some springs and run bigger rims after that it will be perfect.

ok so if im correct $873 is non group buy and $697 is group buy?? i will put it to the boss of the house not sure how i can explain to her its worth the money but i will do my best as i really want one of these. any ideas?? remember my xmas present is already the dump pipe!!

How much can you feel it?? Coz the bov does make a bit l of noise/ fart sound.. Not much vibration though however may be different with other ppls m35's Just a suggestion as you say you here/ feel it when getting off the pedal!!

I test drove a few from there.. But at my time of purchase all theirs were out of my price range.. Touch wood don't have probs with mine.. Apart from the rocker cover seal leak that's how I bought it got it 2K cheaper coz I convinced the seller there was a serious oil leak!! Well who wants to buy a car if there is a burning oil smell and faintly visable smoke?? I did!! fixed the seal and fine since.. You won't ge this saving from prestige coz there cars are in top condition.. And they have great customer service not pushy with sales but still let you know what is going on!!

Sweet.. What's a general eta on when you need cash.. This will probly have to be my Xmas present as I have bought a unit and funds aren't very sustainable at the moment!!
