i used a random key i got from my importer looked same as M35 one.. ridges on the key were higher then my original so i had it cut down.. then coded it to the car through the. ignition on/off door unlock/lock procedure. Works fine looks original cost me nothing (mates a locksmith) guess its different with alarms and so on. but since the stagea doesnt have transponder system standard it works.. matt

Spotted a silver m35 at wakehurst parkway and warringah rd intersection bout 12:45pm today then another baby blue M35 at pittwater rd allambie just after.. I had to give it a bit while making the turn onto pittwater rd as there was a ute coming... When I hit the bus lane the old surface was a little greasy so got the dance moves going.. Caught me a little off guard that's for sure.. I'm not a hoon.. Only when I'm in a rush to pick up the wife you know how it is.. Can't be late!!

I am selling my stagea ppls. why?? coz i want to buy another 4x4 of the off road kind. Anyway heres the details location: hornsby area 2002 Nissan Stagea (M35 250t rs) 55 000kms rego till sep 2011 MODS Kakimoto cat-back exhaust DBA 4000 x-drilled and slotted front rotors RDA slotted rear rotors QFM A1RM pads on the front QFM HPX pads on the rear (brake discs and rotors only 12 000kms old) Pioneer head unit and rear speakers Other info: -the car is fitted with the factory aero kit without fog lights in front bar. -Replaced the spark plugs with DENSO iridiums 5000kms ago -changed leaky left bank rocker cover seal (common prob with the M35) -replaced CV boot right hand side outer (had others checked all seem fine) -always change the oil and filter every 5000kms with Penrite full synth. -have 8lt of nissan matic J trans fluid to come with sale (i havent got round to changing the trans fluid yet) -factory Bilstein suspension - also have spare AFM bought it incase mine ever crapped itself. -the car runs very smothly never had one problem with it gets 750kms off a tank on the freeway. (little bargining info to convince the better half ) paint is in perfect condition apart from the little stone chip here and there. interior is immaculate except from the front speaker pods (me thinks previous owner had custom door pods but didnt want to sell them so replaced with this crapy stick on carbon fibre look alike material. not that bad you can always source some factory ones) car looks the goods and will not disapoint. when i did mine my universal (bendy) socket adapter was my best friend!!!!

they definately look the shizz!! dont know if i like the fenders??

just pull them out again... heat and split em.. and use some of the glassylite stuff to fix the clear-ness.. and sikaflex/gasket silicone them back together.. you didnt ruin your inside did you??, its just not sealing together properly right?? yes its a bitch of a job but will save you $$$ instead of new/secondhand lights. anyway thats what i would do.. so far mine arent leaking.. but thats why i did mine to begin with, one was leaking and there was a spider living in there!!

u can always get universal ones at an autospares.. and they are generally high tensile better thread then the stock ones..

^^ thanks guys.. like you alex i need to clean my throttle body and give the intercooler pipes a clean too.. noticed some gunk around the outside of a few of the joints..

i didnt start the car but did turn the ignition to put the windows up while i went outside to paint the lights.. so that would be the problem then.. should i do a reset or will it just go away like you said?? thanks for the help..
