  1. Hey mate, i have a box that i jigged up for my R33, welcome to have it and some 0 gauge wire, and ill pre wire the sub as well. For 400 the amp is an absolute bargain, the sub is excellent also, on par with RExxx and soundstream xxx15.
  2. Still not selling, have sold one sub, need the remaining sub and amp gone, ill take $400! This is really high quality gear, even if it is only for the amp only this is an excellent buy! 0434284396
  3. Hi guys, need to get rid of the exhaust that is on my car at the moment, just a 3" cat back XFORCE system, fits r33 gtst, pick up bonnyrigg heights sydney. 0434284396 $150.
  4. Hi guys, got a diff back super drager here, pretty good condition just needs a polish. I purchased this recently as I wanted to hook it up to my current system but I have decided against it (no cash hehe). Looking for $100 ono, pick up in Bonnyrigg Heights Sydney only. Thanks. 0434284396
  5. Hey guys, I know, I know, search! I have spent 45 mins searching and I cannot find any info on installation of bleed valves on r33's with aftermarket intercoolers. I can either get the car to have unlimited boost or std, but cannot control the boost with the controller. Is the only way to weld a nipple on the ic piping somewhere or is there a easier way? Sorry if it is a stupid q! It is one of those cheap valves with the t piece and a boost controller in-out piece.. I have a black vacuum line coming out from under the bov return lines somewhere connected to the bottom of the std boost solenoid, a vac line coming off the wastegate actuator which is connected to a t-piece near the std bov. Thanks for the help guys. like this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TURBO-SMART-TURBOSMART-BOOST-CONTROLLER-GUAGE-BOV-NISMO-VL-SKYLINE-COMMODORE-HSV-/111007344109?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d88da5ed
  6. Hi guys, thinking its about time to clear out some car audio gear I'm not really using much anymore, this stuff should go to a good home, its pretty rare to come up. Now, I have two 15" MA Audio EHO154 quad coil 5000wrms subs and a Visonik v4000xd 4000wrms amp. Theres not much of this stuff in Aus, very difficult to find an amp like at all here without spending many thousands of dollars. This is a very reliable setup, I have previously owned soundstream xxx 15" subs and blew those several times, needing recones because the coils kept getting fried, these subs I have owned and have had no issues whatsoever, no overheating or funny smells, they just perform (with the correct amp that is). The amp is rated at 3500wrms @ 2ohm, and I had these subs wired at about 2.6 ohm I think and I have never reached clipping point, they just get louder and louder, contrary to what most people believe, the response is very good for fast dance or techno style music, but they really come alive with heavy bass style tracks rnb or rap. I currently have one only wired up in my r33 and its pretty amazing what comes out of just one sub, with two wired up it is absolutely insane. I can show any potential buyers what it can do with it all still wired up. If anyone knows car audio gear (db junkies), you will know this stuff is special. Looking for around $1200, can supply some 0 awg wire for the amp if need be. 0434284396 Bass....tester baby...uh.uh. 15" Competition Series Subwoofer Power Handling: Peak: 10000 watts RMS: 5000 watts [*]Dual layer pressed carbon fiber cone [*]High density foam surround [*]Double layer progressive spiders [*]Woven tinsel leads [*]Ultra strong carbon fiber dust cap [*]Bumped black plate for maximum excursion [*]Patented thermo-cooling motor [*]Hi-Temp kapton voice coil former [*]3" Black anodized aluminum coils [*]228oz. 7. I have a really filthy dirty one JEZ what do you suggest I do? My engine is pretty clean though.
  8. How many bolt halfshaft and driveshaft on the diff?
  9. You are probably losing a large percentage of your economy by those little squirts that you don;t really need to do, when I say I'm babying it, I mean I shift at 2200 rpm, 30% throttle so neg boost, roll down hills, lights and roundabouts, I know it's not really practical for most people to drive like that but yeah, just trying to get 2 weeks out of a tank, to and from work, 6 days a week, HEAPS better economy than the elgrand I had, but driving pretty much as slow haha.
  10. A good way to check the coils is just to have a look at night with the car idling, usually the bad one will arc a bit giving you a little flash of light, but my rb20 was doing the same thing, kept trying different things, spark plugs and gaps, but it just turned out to be the coils, when I had vacuum leaks it would usually start missing much earlier than what yours seems to be.
  11. Wow, I get 500km per 50l, I baby the car though, just got front mount and exhaust, but yeah you guys must be really getting smashed with these petrol prices. I get roughly the same km on the worst or best fuel economy wise.
  12. I have a series 1 afm you can use if you are in sydney? I would check for vacuum leaks (spray carby cleaner around all joins and listen for idle change- only when cold, and be carefull not to spray the exhaust), get a consult and check if the 02 sensor is working properly, is it wired properly?, and swap the afm. Really you should get at least 100km per 1/4 tank driving sensibly. When you fill up after 260km, was the tank empty? Is it turbo?
  13. Hi guys, after having the r32 written off I purchased this Elgrand, but I simply miss the feel of the skyline, so this has got to go. I purchased this for $11,500 8 weeks ago, it was imported just over a year ago with 67000ks, now has 87000ks. The condition in and out is really good, body is straight with only a couple if marks on the rear bumper, paint is excellent, and after going and looking at 7 or 8 privately and in car yards, even though this one was 1997 compared to the 1998 to 2001 models, the condition of this one was heads and shoulders above the rest, just really neat and clean, interior is excellent with really no marks or real signs of wear and tear, engine starts first time every time, gearbox is great, suspension is soft. This is a 3.3L Petrol. VG33. This is registered for 8 people, and it is actually very comfortable for all 8 people, heaps of room for everyone. I really wanted to get 11k back for this, but it looks like that is not going to happen, so I am willing to take 10, rego runs our the end of next month. This has one sunroof for front and one for rear, a dvd, tv, satnav headunit and 4 jvc speakers, and a reversing camera, alarm and immobilizer of course, this has a 4wd switch and ABS. Located in Western Sydney. 0434284396 Tyler.

R32 Rb20 TPS $10 R32 GTR GTS4 Slave $10 R32 RB20 Bottom half air box $Free R32 GTR Tripple cluster $20 R32 Fog Lights, not sure if these fit GTR or GTS4 or GTST, welcome to have a look if you like. 15. I thought the same thing but the original steering wheel and boss were in place, I don't believe they had been tampered with, it was intermittent and there was no way to guess when it would happen, either way, all gone, all good. OP, if you can, just get the system removed and a lock bar installed asap, at least the car will be safe to drive, I know how dangerous it feels, good luck!
  16. It is english? Does the system work correctly apart from in reverse, turning? If the fuse is is will the car have 4wd working fine once driving forwards?
  17. Hmm, well mine is showing no signs of that retardation...I know what you mean because it felt like that when I had different diff front and back, the system was kind of just going haywire. I have just changed from std rims though, fronts had maybe %60 tread, rears were just down to flattening out the grooves which is around 1%-2% difference in the diameter, I had no funny issues with that at all, which must have been still within the margin of error for attessa, running 8.5 and 9.5 now with 235's, still everything seems to be operating normally, car is behaving fine, attessa only kicking in when I would expect it to, so yeah, it must still be within the margins, which seem to be around up to 4% front what I have read. Again though, OP may just want to get a new set of rims to be sure.
  18. The GTR shock/spring sits lower on my gts4, everything bolts up fine but the height is about an inch lower stock for stock on mine.
  19. I doubt the 'puff' of the small stretch would amount to much, front and rear tyres wear unevenly and I have heard nothing of attessa issues caused by such a small difference, that said, I may have issues in the future, but it all runs fine for now. Shibura, try and get a set of rims with no step, better to be safe than sorry mate.
  20. So staggered 17" is fine, keep rolling diameter the same with same profile tyres.
  21. Will cost between 100 and 150 to repair moderate damage, I had a massive dent repaired which I was surprised they could do.
  22. Can take a while to get all water out of that valley though, if you can avoid getting it in there, do so, everything else I have had no issues with.
  23. Can anyone confirm staggered rim size with matching profiles will cause issues? From what i have read on here as long and the rolling diameter is within a couple of percentage points it will be fine. I have run staggered rims with matching series rubber with no issues (17x8.5, 17x9.5), attessa behaves fine only seems to activate when slip occurs.
