Took a few pictures this evening..... Have the rears sitting where I want them for now....but new rims are coming from Japland anyways.....three months wait though Fronts will soon have the current rears so will have enough dish finally GTR wing will be swapped back to carbon wing once I get the new wheel setup right. -

Ok I need help on this one please. I am currently running 18x9 +35 with a 35mm spacer to get the rims sitting the way I want them. Looking at ordering / sourcing some 18x10s but not sure what offset to get. Apparently the O disk versus the A disk affects offset as well...i want max dish so going with the O disk. What offset should I be getting if I want the rims to match my spacer set up atm? Ppppphhhhanks -

Yeah...the plan is to get wider rims (with more dish) and go 275s on the back to really pull it off...and run the exisitng rears as the fronts with a bit of guard work -

Spacers yes....well it was weird....the "package" was delivered first thing in the morning....I was expecting it so had left the door open with the flyscreen locked...I saw the van pull up and an Asian chick jump out with this mysterious object wrapped in black...she just left it outside the door and shouted "arsehole"...I was walking to the door so basically reached in time to see her rush back to the van having just called me an arsehole with this bomb on my doorstep..LOL Turns out she must have said "household" and it wasnt a bomb it was my spacers..and she was just in a rush -

Update: Going to go with the current rim setup for the moment but with bolt on spacers at the back so that I can ditch this sunk look asap. Spacers have been ordered and are in the mail. Saving again for a pair of wider meisters with lower offset and more dish which I will run on the back and swap the rears to the front. Want it to look mean !! Got a coilpack cover bit from Jarrad (thanks mate) and gave that a lick of high temp paint. Probably not going to do anything to that and just leave it black or its going to get too "kiddie" with too much colour. I like the way it looks at the moment even though it might seem a tad "quirky" for some. Will give it a penultimate and then a final coat before going over it with clear. -

Update on the rocker cover project.....this is work in progress and trial and error so be kind ! Also this is the first coat...you have to go over them at least thrice for it to come up nice and vibrant. Started the other one as the first one cures..... Getting there.....stay tuned -

Cheers Cameron Scott the guard project was a great success.....it is subtle enough to not "stick out and slap you in the face" and mean enough to "create a stir". I LOVE IT - just waiting to get the rims out a bit more and I reckon it will look wicked !! IMO the car is looking the best it has ever done....... -

SAU is really dying......members hardly post anymore However....I will keep updating this thread because I am still very much in love with my car and what I do and besides it helps me keep track of what I have done when. So update: Went to the panel and paint place this morning to check on the progress being made......its coming along nicely - almost ready for primer. (did not take any pictures) I also picked up a set of rocker covers (thanks Selven) which I plan to prep and paint myself - with a slight rather interesting twist...so stay tuned for that. How I got them.... After a good degrease and wash..... -

Project: Rear over-fenders Dropped off the car. Discussed options by way of cutting out the arches thereby achieving more clearance, welding the inside and outside edges together to prevent any moisture and dirt getting in and getting a "smoother look" and also looked at possible rim fitments down the line. -

Few small updates: Rear brace all fitted up......(forgot to take a picture).....no noticeable difference in handling (as expected)...tad more rigidity at best. Took Tom up on his $69 service offer at PZP because I was being lazy and got an oil and filter change.....can swear the car feels smoother but then again you are supposed to think these things !! Currently speaking to Andrew at Maddog Customs - want my rocker covers painted and engine bay tidied up a bit. Also waiting to hear back from the panel and paint place - car was supposed to go in next week for the fender work. -

Update: After a bit of searching around for some place decent to have the work done I have narrowed it down to two possibilities. Either way cars going in in about a weeks time for the fender work... Picked up a rear strut brace this morning...currently fitting it up Had to sand back the spots of surface rust anyway...so decided to give it a lick of paint while I was about it..... -
