  3. Hi guys, Currently building my r34 gtr, it'll be putting out around 450awkw. Currently I had a excedy HD clutch from the old set up.. But I don't think this will handle anywhere near the power of the new build. Can someone confirm this and also point me in the right direction of what I need to look for in a clutch to handle the power. Cheers

  6. Hi Everyone, Currently I have some things for sale, car is currently at the mechanics so I will be able to have some photos up soon. Reason for sale is that I am going to build the engine, and want bigger turbos. I purchased the -9s 4 months ago and they have travelled 150km max. Garrett GT2959R-9s ($2,310) - With Garrett Adjustable Wastegates (14.7 base) ($176) I bought them for $2,486 Happy to let them go for $2,000 posted R34 Stock Turbo - Travelled ~46,000km - One turbo is blown, the other seems in fine shape, So buy one and get one free if you wanted. Comes with stock wastegates. - $200 - Can also provide stock dumps if interested.. Pics will come as soon as the turbos are out! Cheers Harry
  7. I guess time will tell about how much power is make. I'd love to have boost all the way to the limiter but I'd need more lag to do so.. Has anyone ever/is it possible to do one -9 and one -5?
  8. What would -9 s on e85 with forged internals, cams, exhaust be looking at reaching (power wise)
  9. -9s not to kill a stock motor. Would a rebuild be considered stock? Or are you talking about racing..
  10. 'Instant torque' how instant are we talking with the -9s? Are they known to pull all the way to redline? With a new set of cams that is..
  11. I'm planning on going the e85 route I think. Having to build my engine now. Previously I thought I had just blown a turbo so I bought and installed -9s. Thinking -5s would be the better op on e85 + re built engine..
  12. Ahh this has pushed me to get -5s now.. With a built engine (forged pistons, rods, cams etc) and on e85.. What would be the power difference from 9s to 5s? And the difference on hitting full boost would be from 4.5k for 9s and 5k for 5s?
  13. So back on topic. End of the day it's personal preference right? With a built engine you have the option of more response with the -9s as to bigger top end with -5s? xGTRx what power are you pushing and what supporting mods do you have with the -5s? (And when are they at full boost) if you don't mind answering?
