Technically speaking, here are the duties of the Secretary. 24. Duties of Secretary: 24.1 The Secretary shall conduct the correspondence of the Club and subject to the control of the Committee, shall have the custody of all documents belonging to the Club. He or she shall keep full and correct minutes of all proceedings of the Club and of the Committee. 24.2 A register of the members shall be kept by the Secretary and shall contain names, addresses and joining date and any other information deemed relevant by the Secretary. Members shall notify the Secretary of any changes in information contained in the register. 24.3 All notices issued by the club shall be issued by the Secretary. Pretty much what Kaz has put up but in fancy wording.

I have re-read the constitution and modified my original post to cater for Section 17 - Voting. 17. Voting: 17.1 At all meetings, i.e. AGM, EGM and GM, every financial Ordinary or Life Member shall be entitled to one vote. In cases of equal voting the Chairperson shall have the casting vote except in elections. 17.2 In the case of equal voting in any election it shall be decided by lots. 17.3 All votes will be of an open nature. 17.4 Ballot papers will be issued with newsletters not less than 10 days prior to voting date. Unfortunately, as this is a matter of urgency and we are calling an extraordinary general meeting, we, the committee exercise our right to veto the number of days required to hold an EGM due to this being considered as an emergency. Should any member disagree to this decision, a letter of exception outlining reasons as to why this meeting should not go ahead can submitted to the committee for consideration.

The funds raised from the sale of the Entertainment Books will go to SAU-Vic as funding for more prizes and events run by SAU-Vic. I highly recommend these books! After using 3 of the restaurant vouchers, we've paid for the book and already started saving. They're ace!

As long as it's not mine, I care not. Just do it safely and don't push it too hard or the GTR WILL bite back!

Sounds like it was a fun cruise with a good turnout. Congrats to Brentton for organising a cruise of his own. Bummer to hear about the little accident. I hope it's not too difficult to fix. Let this just be an example of how you guys can organise your own cruises and not wait for the SAU-Vic committee to come up with ideas. "Invite them and they will come."

And on another note, congratulations to Patrick for winning the design competition for the sauvic.com.au website. As promised and as the winner, Patrick has received $300 as his prize. Well done again mate!

SAU-Vic should have a stand at Semi Finals. We used to do the May show when there was only one but it turned out to be a bit too much to organise so we made an executive decision to put all our efforts into Semi Finals which tends to be a bigger show anyway. Expressions of interest will go up around late August or early September to work out some ideas on what the SAU-Vic will entail.

Ultrafine in Cheltenham are apparently pretty good. I've never tried them but they sprayed and fitted the body kit to the ex Ice Performance Supra which is now the Racingline Motorsport Supra.

Twas a wonderful weekend and an awesome setting for the wedding. The weather was awesome and the company with the exception of Ash was also ace! Congrats again Pete and Gemma! We all had a ball! Thanks for the invite!

Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the ride. It may get a bit bumpy through turbulence though but the weather report is fine and clear skies.

Ok. I gave up trying to upload photos to SAU so I've made a Flickr account and my pics can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/leewah/ Enjoy.

My browser crash after I'd uploaded all the photos and I really CBFed doing it again coz it took so long. This forum needs a bulk upload thingy so we put a whole lot up at the same time. I didn't see anything make over 211awkw and I was there from 1-5 so I must have missed something. I admittedly was up the back behind the dyno talking to people though.

Popped into AutoSalon yesterday to see what was on show this year. The show was definitely down on cars but that could have been expected considering this year's show was 1 month early and was only 2 weeks after the AGP show. There were some pretty cool expressions of creativity on show but what I did notice was in the influx of Euros and SUVs on show. Also, the new presence of motorbikes made for a new addition. There were some very fine examples of hot bikes on show including a blinged out GSX-R 1000 and a Ducatti 999 which was secks on 2 wheels. SAU had a lone exhibitor there but I didn't recognise the car but the stand was pretty neat and the car looked nice. Autosalon managed to get the Alpine Mini out from the US as well as the TRD Circuit Supra. Another nice car on display was the AutoSalon built Drift S15 in a nice mirror finish paint job. The dyno didn't have much to offer as far as I could tell with the highest power reading being 211awkw from a WRX produced by S21 Performance.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come down, renew their membership, join the club or just to hang out and have a chin wag! Big thanks to Mav for organising and the rest of the committee and anyone else who helped out on the day and made it successful. Also, huge thanks to Ray and RE Customs for hosting our event. A great supporter of the club! As for my day, very disappointed by results. About 75kw down on what I exepected but meh *shrug* I guess I'll have to work on it to bring it back up. Tune looked pretty crappola so Ray is going to have a look at it along with a couple other little issues I have with the car. Congrats to all the prize winners!

Happy birthday Big Bird!!! Hope you had a great day!

I wouldn't speak so soon. It all depends on whether the car will start in the morning, whether it get to Rays, whether I can be arsed getting on the dyno and whether it will hold together. It's only running street tune so I can't imagine it'll make any crazy AutoSalon figures. Guess we'll wait and see...

I'll be there in the R. Not sure if I'll put it on yet but chances are looking pretty good. Also depends on how I feel when I wake up in the morning and if the R is feeling up for a run
