  1. Yeah, he got me. It does look like a pretty cool car though. I think the only criticism I have for it (and I had to look hard) was that the dials looked just like most Audi dials except this speedo went to 340km/h. It's actually quite comfy inside. Getting in and out must get to you eventually though but I guess dems da breaks when you drive a Lambo. Very cool Mr Supercar. Very cool indeed.
  2. Don't forget peeps!
  3. RS4 Avant FTMFW!! Pres 4 Shotgun!!!
  4. Well it looks like everyone had fun. Once again, SAU comes through with the goods and picks up a couple trophies! I don't think we've gone an AutoSalon event before without winning something. Just goes to show that SAU is full quality and also know how to party hard!
  5. Hey Ant. 2 words for ya! FARKING SHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!
  6. There'll be no heckling on my time! This is my first one as Pres so Snowy and Golgo have to play nice otherwise there'll be detention for all.
  7. What he said! Didn't even look at the posts below the photos but the S15 is farking hot as!!! Hummers, pfft. Seen one, seen em all. The only thing that changes is the size and shininess of the rims.

ROFL! I may have had a KK Amazing Race up to Sydney and back for them before they opened in Melb but I certainly wouldn't have gone that far for them. Oh the shame! I feel so dirty...

  10. That's actually quite similar to a localised cyclone in the Doncaster area. Ross (PurpleR32) is the expert in it. They call it Cyclone Ann and it's a regular coinsurance to feels its full force anytime you're at home!
  11. Kittens is better...
  12. Either the plate is MCLF1 or BIGMAC. It's usually at the GP each year. It lives in a block of apartments just behind the Hilton.
  13. All the Jap cars are limited to 180 km/h out of the box, just like Euros are limited to 250 km/h. It's just a govt regulation. I've seen $3 on my speedo but I would imagine that's only about 270-280 km/h. I'd imagine my car would break the $3 barrier easily if there was enough straight road somewhere with enough braking space. There was a white R33GTR (built by RacePace Motorsport) which cracked 310ish I think in a Motor Magazine a few years back at Avalon before Jetstar came in and ruined it for everyone.
  14. Looks like everyone out there had a ball and by all reports another successful GOR cruise for 2007. Thanks to Paul, Mav and Al for heading up the event. I unfortuantely had prior engagements but would have loved to come on the cruise because as Ash said, this is the biggest, longest and best cruise which SAU-Vic run every year! If you missed out and haven't been on one yet, I think everyone who has been on one will agree with me when I say it's something that you HAVE to do at some time.
  15. Nice work Jimbo! Looks HAWT!!
  16. Cya later Geoff and Nelly! Was great to meet you and it's always been great to have you around the club and supporting the events. Take care up there and brag about how cool SAU-Vic is!!
  17. Just saw a Vanquish take off in ANGER from the cnr of King and Bourke St no more than 10 mins ago. I need to change my pants!!!
  18. Since taking on new roles on the Executive Committee, the first thing on the agenda was to create the new General Committee which will oversee the running of the club for 2007. As of today (1 March), the official committee for SAU-Vic 2007 will be comprised of: Executive Committee President: David Lee (Leewah) Vice President: Chris Thompson (Scotsman) Treasurer: Ross Brown (PurpleR32) Secretary: Sarah Biggin (sarahB) General Committee Events Coordinator: Matt Phillips (Mavric) Events Coordinator: Alan King (saff_cossie) Motorsport Director: Troy Brisby (Roy) Media Manager: Pete Blythe (Bass Junky) Merchandise: Bec Pretty (Bec) Sponsorship Manager: Justine Schuller (MissJuz) Webmaster: Paul Rivoli (paulr33) Please join me in congratulating the new committee for 2007. There are a number of improvements on the boards which we hope to have up and running in the very near future. Should you wish to contact any of the committee, please either send them a PM or email them at the address in their signatures.
  19. Happy Birthday Jimbo!! Make sure you don't work too hard.
  20. Congratulations on the new appointment James! A well deserved change. From kiddie book producer to food product expert, now a Super Playboy with the toys to match!! If only I was half as cool as you, I'd have to wear a red jacket!! P1FTMFW!!!! Now go and work out a P1/SAU sponorship deal with Stickers!
  21. We're still looking for nominees for the role of Media Manager. If you think you've got what it takes, please put your hand up to be considered for the role.
  22. Nope. There's still only 4 execs in the committee. Pres (myself), VP (Scotsman), Secretary (SarahB) and Treasurer (PurpleR32). The general committee has yet to be finalised and will be done by the next general meeting in March.
  23. The AGM has now been held and the new Executive Committee has been ushered in for 2007. The new Executive Committee is made up of: President - Dave Lee (Leewah) Vice President - Chris Thomson (Scotsman) Treasurer - Ross Brown (Purple32) Secretary - Sarah Biggin (Sarah B) A general committee will be made up over the next couple weeks and with their assistance, I'm sure that SAU-Vic will be in good stead for the coming year ahead. I personally would like to take the time to thank James, Snowy and Adz for their tireless efforts over the previous years in their roles on the committee. You have served with enthusiasm and pride and for that we can't thank you enough. Condolences to Paul, Ash and Pete who missed out on my role but I believe the voting was very close. Your inputs into progressing the club will always be welcomed. As I said last night at the AGM, this is a members club. The committee only serve as an instrument to facilitate your requests. If you have any ideas of what you would like done in the club, an event you would like to hold, a cruise you would like to do, merchandise you would like, post it up and let us know. We're always open to new ideas and suggestions. Most of the existing committee will remain in the general committee but if you would like to join the general committee in some kind of role, please let us know. We're always looking for people to assist in various areas. If it can help us, it will help the club. I don't intend on making any major drastic changes to the way the club is run. I believe our predecessors did a fantastic job at building a solid foundation for the club to grow on. What we, the new committee will do is build on that foundation and strengthen our ground as a car club. We intend on going out and selling the name of SAU-Vic to sponsors and gain more club awareness in the general population. I and the new committee would like to thank you for your support by voting us in and hope we can do you all proud and lead SAU-Vic into the new year. Cheers, Dave.
  24. As far as I know, Joel will not be accepting any nominations for positions on the committee as his job is taking up too much of his time.
  25. Don't forget the meeting peeps! See you all there!
