  1. Awesome photos! I'm really going to have to do TAS sometime in the next few years. I reckon 09 would be a good time once the new GTR is out and tuning houses have played with them.
  2. It doesn't matter where it happened. The point is, it happened and it's irresponsible and illegal. People really shouldn't be uploading this kind of rubbish onto the Internet and giving other Skyline owners a bad name.
  3. I can't be bothered reading all 11 pages of this bollocks but here's one of the YouTube vids of a 34R. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ndjvSp3PvU...ted&search= If you're reading this thread, you are a complete D-O-N-K-E-H!!!!
  4. Going to Sydney for GF's bday in April. It's her 30th so we're gonna do it big! Heading to Vegas in late June/July for the World Series of Poker and play with the best of them. Hoping to stop by in Korea to visit a friend who started a business over there. Maybe heading to India on a sponsored poker trip for India's first major poker tourney. I said if they sponsor me and pay for all my stuff, I'd be happy to represent them.
  5. Jack, I'd prob classify you more as a life saver rather than truck driver. The truck just gets the chicks
  6. So does poker It's not the IT which is paying me well.
  7. BS!! By that logic, I too am a Ferrari driver along with BMW, Mercedes, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Porsche, MG, Ford, Holden, Hyundai, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Suburu, Nissan and a host of other drivers. 20 mins in a car doesn't make you a driver Chauffeur maybe, but not a driver.
  8. IT Systems Tester and Jnr Business Analyst. Also, part time poker pro
  9. Anyone who wants to vote for a nominee, must be a paid member of SAU-Vic and also be present at the general meeting at the time the voting is conducted.
  10. 68k! Car must go soon so. Willing to negotiate on any serious offers. Engine just had a rebuild back in Nov with new sleeved block, pistons, bearings and ancillaries.
  11. I've smashed a Jun oil pump in my car and I know of 2 other cars which shat the Jun oil pump. I went with the HKS. Never had a problem since.
  12. Just for the record, I accept the nomination for Treasurer. I also nominate both SarahB and Bec for the role of Secretary should they choose to accept it. I also nominate Bec for Merchandise Manager.
  13. Nothing new there. Ash is already everyone's bitch. Get back in line!
  14. If you're nominating Ash for anything, it's obvious you haven't been in the club long enough
  15. More photos: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/mitsubishi-prototype-x/
  16. Sorry Kylie. I tried... Guess no more 50/50 for you
  17. Yay!! Someone who believes that I do the right thing with the club's money! With more members, I can step up the stakes on the poker tables too! W00t!!
  18. I'm happy to run for Treasurer again. Just need someone to second me.
  19. Another requirement to be on the committee is the ability to spell and correct use of the English language. The role of Pete is to come to the occasional committee meeting and watch YouTube.com videos and show off photos of yourself at DECA. If you can't do that, you don't qualify. There can only be one Brisby.
  20. Although I'd like to say I run 600+ awkw on the street, I think that'd be known as suicide. I'm only running 420awkw on the street so I dare say any decent rubber will hold the car unless I decide to do some hard corey launch action.
  21. I already have 265/25/18 on my 18x10s so I was thinking of going wider on the 10.5s. Ferni makes a good point though. I think the "tramlining" effect would be too great with 285> Will prob stick with the 265s or maybe go up to 275s. Now all I need is to find a good tyre. The Falken Azinis have been good. Just wondering what else people are using for street use. If the car hits the track, it'll only be something small like DECA so RE55s and the like aren't necessary.
  22. Just wondering what the gurus think a good sized tyre for a 18x10.5 rim would be. Also, what's a good road tyre which can also be used on the track very very occasionally? I was thinking around the 285-295 mark. Thoughts?
  23. Merry Xmas James. Hope all is well in Casa De La Snowcone! Snow in December in Melbourne. Who woulda thunk it?
  24. Welcome to the club Bris! Happy belated birthday!
  25. Glad your ok Sez. RIP Rolla! Bring on the Liner!
