  1. Happy birthday Al! No better way to celebrate than tearing it up in Shep!!
  2. Well we're leading up the Victorian Championships of Poker starting tomorrow night (Thurs 24 Aug) at Crown. It's gonna be a massive event with the Main Event guarenteed to have a 100k+ 1st prize. I for one am hanging for this opportunity. Details can be found at Vic Champs Schedule There are plenty of satellite events if you don't want to fork out the $1650 entry fee. I've already won my seat into it and I can't wait to play against some of AU's best. There are also cheaper buyin tourneys too like the Camp Quality Charity Cup where proceeds go to Camp Quality, the 25k, 40k and 75k prizepool events. If you really enjoy your poker, this is the time to shine. The next major tourneys will be the Aussie Millions in Jan where someone will win an estimated $1.5M first prize.
  3. Mine's the biggest bitch in the World making it a chick. No way a male car could have as many dummy spits as mine so regularly but yet still be loved so much!! I think she's a bit of a of an sprinter on steriods though. No chick I know could go as fast for such a short period of time. Being an R33, she's also a bit fat for her own good. Loves having it given to her and enjoys a great spanking once in a while. Such a strip whore and dyno queen She was also nicknames Stella many moons ago. Not by me though. I call her Ribena.
  4. Enter your origin and your destination and this will tell you where the cameras are. http://roadwatch.com.au/
  5. 450awkw should give a low 10 around 130-133MPH. When I had 446rwkw, I managed a 10.4@132MPH on Nitto 555 275/45/17. I also had the full OS Cross Mission gearset though minimising the risk of lunching the box.
  6. And it's in today's news. I'm sure I can find better things to do with $8M. http://carsguide.news.com.au/story/0,20384...7-21822,00.html
  7. 1 word. TOPS!!!
  8. Happy bday Shiv. Hope you have a great one! Man, there's a lot of bdays around this time...
  9. Great turnout for a great meeting last night. Nice to see some new faces there and I hope learnt/gained something from it. As Paul said, thanks to the Blood Bank and Exedy coming out to give a presentation. I think I learnt a fair bit about clutches last night and I definately learnt something about Adz after his question to the nurse

  12. Happy Birthday Juz!!! Hope you get heaps of really cool prezzies
  13. GT2 = I just want one. Are the times posted anywhere? Just curious how Nige went in the Supes on his 2nd time out.
  14. Do you have the all the carpet which goes into the boot for a 33 GTR? If so, how much are you asking for it?
  15. I think if I had to have a hatch, it'd be the R32 Golf. 3.2 V6 AWD with all the nice bits and the DSG g/box.
  16. Frank Modena. Builds gearboxs for V8 supercars badged as Hollingers. Top bloke, full of info and willing to help if you're really serious. Modena Engineering Pty Ltd U2/ 11 Daniel Drv Carrum Downs 3201 (03) 9782 4420 (03) 9782 5273 (03) 9782 5274
  17. Ahhh. It only seems like last year when my 604awkw was the benchmark. Oh hang on... IT WAS!!! Would love to see these cars hit the strip though and see the times they pull.
  18. That's NUTZ!!! Congrats to owner and builders. The mark has been raised once again for others to chase Would like to see it on the track and see what time/ET it pulls. Should be massive!
  19. Good work on replacing it so quick Pete. Good luck with the new one. A decent radiator cap also does wonders if you haven't already got one. It will add at least 10rwkw (15 if it's from HKS or Greddy).
  20. Car was in perfect condition when he sold it. It just goes to show that you can absolutely thrash the hell outta a car but as long as it's properly maintained, there really shouldn't be any issues with it. Those were the good ol days when we could cruise/fang where we liked and nobody asked any questions. Nowadays, you'd be nuts to go out and do half of what we used to do. FangArtists FTW!!!
  21. I knew this car well as it belonged to a fellow FangArtist (HiRisk). Absolute animal of a car for the minor mods it had. To put it plainly, Shaun drove it like he stole it in those runs. This included rev limiter launches, flat shifting and doing everything humanly possible to pull the fastest possible time.
  22. JB FTW!!! That is all.
  23. Bump! Don't forget ppl, meeting is tomorrow night!
  24. Stick with the stockies. No BOVs on the market will do a better job than original. Most if not all of the big HP GTRs I know of still use them. I know from experience that they can hold 38psi without missing a beat.
