    Gtr Gearbox?

As far as I know, the following people are using the OS Giken Cross Mission gearset: LeeWah Ben (RPM GTR) Emre I think Frank may also be using one but that's only what I've heard. It's an awesome box. It been out dragging with me at full power (600+awkw) and not missed a beat. If you treat the box right, it'll hold for sure. BTW, don't trust the Trust boxes. Ben has smashed a number of gears in previous Trust boxes before he moved to the OS. Since the change, he hasn't busted any gears to the best of my knowledge. Well worth the investment IMO.

    Gtr Gearbox?

Jim Berry clutches are the shinitz. No doubt about it. JB FTW!!! As for the gearbox, if you are running <400rwkw, stock box is fine. After that, I highly recommend the OS Giken Cross Mission gearset. Get the sandwhich billet plate and upgraded input shaft for peace of mind. This combination in my car has held 600+ awkw with no problems whatsoever.
  3. Knee high socks weren't the first thing I thought of when I saw that pic... You girls are weird!!
  4. Bikes. Pfffft. Sif a GTR could beat a bike (or Sam Newman in his Labo while carrying 3 passengers)
  5. Correct. Give the man a stuffed teddy!! P.S. And the first Supra in the country to run a 10 sec 1/4 mile.
  6. We are only running an order now for 50 jackets as we want to gauge interest in sales. If there is more interest, we will be running another batch in coming months.
  7. If they had a Star Destroyer, I'd so be in this. The Falcon is still pretty cool though.
  8. Pfffft. Right. Like Nige's car has a stereo in it... (Excluding Street Car of the Year challenges).
  9. I'm in. Do they make "minime" sizes??
  10. Happy Birthday Sarah!! Hope you have a great bday and the party is even bigger!!
  11. Just saw the story on channel 10 news. The pedestrians were crossing the road outside Sunshine hospital where there is apparently a lack of traffic lights and people risk their lives crossing Furlong Road. Driver was released without charge. By the looks of it, this is as much the fault of VicRoads as it is the driver. They are considering the installation now. My condolences to the pedestrians and all those affected by this accident. Just be careful out there and be aware of your surroundings coz people do try to run across the road when they can.
  12. First thing to do when you get to Melb is to join SAUVIC!!!!
  13. Or you can just buy it all setup and ready to run in my car 430awkw on the street and you can turn up the wick if you like for for track fun
  14. US$11,000 for the full kit. Also need to budget for rims and rubber. * Recommended Wheel Size Front 19 x 9.0 (-6) Rear 19 x 12.0 (-34) That mean 265 rubber on the front and 355 rubber on the back (or thereabouts). Pricey if you wanna drift like Han does...
  15. I got everything I wanted out of it. Some of the cars looked HAWT! The chicks were HAWT! I went in there expecting nothing and came out with everything! God bless Veilside... EOM

  20. Hoorah!! Score one for the good guys. So long and farewell. Guess he won't be buying my car anymore
  21. Awesome shots Joel. It's only a pity the lenses were dirty. I keep seeing this mark at the bottom of each photo which says Joel Stickland Photgraphics. Gotta do something bout that one Photo of Al's car on the freeway looks quite striking for some reason. I can't put my finger on why though.
  22. Was an awesome weekend! Had a ball with everyone as usual. Thanks to Racingline and the organisers. Thanks also to all those who volunteered their time to help run the event. Without the volunteers, we'd all be in a lot of trouble. Thanks to Al and Poite for letting me have a go on the skid pan. I really gotta learn how to drive fast while turning the wheel I think I put out a fair bit of tyre smoke with Al's car though Now that I've driven Pete's car, I can truely appreciate how much skill it takes to make the car dance the way he does. Can't wait for September!!
  23. I'm in. Cinema is better than drive in. It's simply more comfortable.
  24. I'm available for tasks to be allocated. I can organise offical's duties again like last time if required.
  25. Twice the distance from the middle to one end.
