  1. I know a wood worker if that's any help. Seen him build a couple tables and the like. It's more of a hobby and a profession of his though and he's in London right now. Will be back in Feb if that helps.

For the right price, she'll call it anything you want her to call it mate. Love you long time, as long as your worth more than her uber mega rich family living in a 50 sqaure palace in Tokyo.

They sure do! A mate of mine married a Jap girl last year and all she does now is look after him, the new baby and keep the house tidy and functioning. She also wants to go back to work soon so that she can "contribute the household". Blow me down, but I think I need a couple of these Jap wives I'm high maintenance.
  5. I'm more of a Nissan (only RBs and SRs)/BMW/Astin Martin guy myself but Frauds have their uses.

Ahhh, this reminds me of the days when Ed used to roam around SAU. Those days were GOLD!!! Good luck with it Troy but I don't think a woman exists which could satisfy your insatiable needs.
  7. I totally missed the new year thing this year. When was it?? Ah well, there's always Chinese New Year which is on 29 Jan. I'll decide closer to the date whether I can make some resolutions which will be broken within hours of being made.
  8. My original set of forgies were Cosworths. Awesome build quality. Replaced recently with Wiescos which are also an awesome piston.
  9. Tell him that if he wants a fast GTR, he can buy mine

    Go Summer!

40 degress on Sat!!!! WTF!!! I'm supposed to be playing golf!! May have to reconsider. Anything over 30 is too hot.
  11. Good luck over in Perth Ant. Don't stay in the sun too long and watch out for dem crazy WA Sandgropers. I hear they bite!! Keep in touch. Hey!! Post up a journal when you can. It'd be great to see some photos of you terrorising Perth!
  12. Happy Birthday Brisinator!! I think the almight Guns N Roses summed it up with "Kinda like it in a coma".
  13. There are quite a few but I'm playing on partypoker.net right now. If you wanna sign up for an account, I have some invites which gives you a bonus when you deposit money into the account. If you're interested, PM me and I'll send you the details.
  14. I wish I had 10k to throw at an entry. Trying to win one through a satellite tourney either at Crown or one of the online toruneys. I'm willing to take shareholders though who can sponsor me Whatever % you put in, you win if I place. That's how a lot of ppl are raising the funds.
  15. Final reminder for this year's final General Meeting! There will be some DECA footage shown, trophies awarded and also the club trophies which people voted on! It's gonna be a belter!! See you there!
  16. For the timebeing, that was a one off thing. If enough people are interested, I may organise another one in the new year in Feb. Crown is going off in a big way in January with the Aussie Millions tourney and a number of other high stakes tourneys which essentially books all 50 tables up.
  17. I thought the combo tickets were still for sale? Well they were last Fri anyway for like $130ish I think. I'm prob heading to Sunshine People instead. Lineup looks pretty damn cool!
  18. This year has been a big one hasn't it? It's hard to remember everything we've done as a club this year. A number of Show N Shines, 2 highly successful DECA weekends, a great circuit calander where people raced at Winton, Sandown, Calder and Philip Island, a number of charity events, BBQs, countless cruises including the annual GOR and Macedon cruises. A drive in night and most recently a poker night. This really is a social club which incidentally involves cars I personally would like to thank the rest of the committee for putting in the hard yards to make the first year a highly successful one. Your work has been invaluable. As this these are volunteered positions and we all have full time jobs and some with children, it's sometimes a real juggling effort to get all the SAU stuff done at the same time (Pats on the back). I would like to thank all the members of the forum who have helped make the club what it is today. With over 180+ memebers, we truely are a club with everything. Without members, there is no club. Without your input, there is no club. This club exists because of you. Make it what you want it to be. The committee is just a channel of formalising ideas which the members come up with. We are are your bidding. All you need to do is suggest it and the committee will consider it. We will be running a club membership renewal drive in Feb next year and I hope to see as many of you there as possible. Please take care during the Xmas and New Year period and if we don't see you at the General meeting tomorrow night, we'll see you in the new year. Cheers, Dave. See you all in the new year!!!
  19. If you looking at it from the front, it is at the back of the engine on the left hand side. It's located about halfway down from the head.
  20. I'm glad that people had fun on Friday night. Thanks for supporting the club. I think things ran very well and to schedule. Ash, I hope you're feeling better soon mate. Good work to all those who won some money, and to thosw who didn't, don't let it discourage you. I will most likely be playiing some small cash tourneys at my house in the new year so brush up your skills and bring them!
  21. Yeah, that'll be fine.
  22. Scott, if you can fill the spot, go ahead as there are only 19 at this point. With Alex's friend pulling out, that makes 18 so there's still 2 spots. If you know someone, get them onboard!
  23. Happy Birthday gAsh! See you 2nite. Hope you're feeling better than the rest of the week. 23!! Wow! You're almost old enough to be called an adult!!
  24. The Vegas Room is on the west side of the casino (Exhibition Centre side). Take the escalator downstairs and you will see all the poker tables. I will be there early so keep an eye out for me. If in dobut, just ask security or some other employee of Crown. They will know where it is.
  25. Thailand rocks! Been there 4 out of the last 5 years. Great place to do relax and do SFA. Done Chang Mai, Chang Rai, Hua Hin, Phuket, Bankok (waste of time), Phi Phi Island and a few others. Chang Mai rocks hard coz not many people go there. Phuket is also cool if you don't stay in Patong. Up north is the place to be. Did you do the SeaCanoe Geoff? That's heaps of fun. SCUBA and golf both rock in Thailand. Don't leave the trip without doing as much of both as humanly possible.
