  1. Have a look at: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=13305&hl=
  2. I heard Ben's shut up shop. He got sick and tired of it all and has given it away for a life of luxury jet skiing and racing his car... Can anyone confirm??
  3. I saw Munro's new single setup late last year and the only way to describe it would be montereous!!!! It will be tops to see it run when it's completed. Pete, which Supra are you talking about? Nige's Supra runs a twin TD06-20g setup, not TD05s.
  4. Tell him you have a turbo and he doesn't. Go into the jargon about how advanced your timing is and the Japs run their cars on 103RON etc, etc, etc. Just confuse the guy and he'll give up. Being a 130k 5 series and post 93, I'm assuming he's driving a 530i and from all accounts, his car should be using premium unleaded too.
  5. Hey Kaz! Thanks for the book! It's got some really awesome discounts in there. Gonna be defiantely using this one big time!
  6. Happy Birthday Clarkey!!! Hope you got some cool pressies
  7. NFI Jack, I just copied snowcone's address from the thread in the events section Blame the Pres!! RPMZ Jack, I'll give G a kick in the pants to get this sh|te happeneing. I think he's gonna hold off factory shoots until the refurbishment in the factory is complete and the place has been tidied up. Of course, as the 2 workshops are so close to each other, there will naturally be some competition however there will still be a fair bit of referral work going on. Make it be known now that this IS an amicable split. There have been no fights, no heated words, not even a GAGF spoken. There IS NOTHING bad going on behind the scenes.
  8. Guys, Nigel's new workshop will be called Racingline Motorsports. It will be located at 15 Bricket St Cheltenham. (Melways Ref 78 B10). Racingline Motorsports will be open as of early May intime for the dyno day. Details of the dyno day can be found in the Vic events section.
  9. I'll be there for a bit after golf in the morning
  10. Nige will still be there until the end of April. Yes, the Ice Performance website is still on it's way. Just waiting for our developer to do something about it
  11. Some of you may know, some of you don't so here's the lowdown before the rumors start. Ice Performance is going through a restructure. Gerald and Nigel have been running Ice Performance over the last 3.5 years to build a strong and reputable name in the modified automotive industry. Together they built Victoria's fastest GTR, Australia's first 10 second GTR and countless other monsterous street machines. Nigel has decided to part ways to start his own business in the automotive industry. The split is amicable and there are no ill feelings between any parties involved . Business will be as usual at Ice Performance as Gerald will be running things on his own from now on. Servicing, modifying and upgrading of your car will still be conducted as usual. In early to mid June though, Ice Performance will be installing some new equipment and remodelling the factory to also offer panel beating, spraying, body kit fitting and other cosmetic repair needs. More details about this as they come. If people need to contact Nigel, he can still be contacted through the normal channels. Gerald at Ice Performance can be contacted on 9512 7591 or 0414 359 888.

Ahhh, the Belagio. Where the big boys play! Can't wait to get there and play with best. Hopefully I'll be there later this year. Flight will be a bday pressie from the GF
  14. Well well well. What a weekend that was. 4 days of SAU action going on trackside, SAU members taking out 3 trophies and of course, non stop drinking for 4 days. Bris, you are a MACHINE!!! Thanks to all those who participated. We hope you had a great time. Will defiantely be invited back next year again where we are hoping trophy winners will get to do a parade lap of the track. Now that's worth entering for

    Quick Question

Skybus is defiantely the best option if there's only one person travelling. As everyone has said, Crown is only bout a 5-8 min walk from the Skybus terminus. Just head DOWN the hill of Spencer St, rather than up coz you'll end in North Melb and that's the wrong way
  16. ROFL!! I only got to see this thread now coz I've been too busy at work. Yeah, it was me and yes I won 26k. Money is all gone now anyway even though I don't get the cheque for another 30ish days. Straight to the credit card and mortgage No fancy tvs or new toys for the car I figured if I won something over 60k, I would have splurged but it simply wasn't enough. Stupid case #6!! Cost me 200k!!! It was a heap of fun and I recommend everyone to live the Australian dream of being on a game show. It is a thoroughly exhilerating experience
  17. Anyone who's coming to the GP should come and say hi at the AutoSalon display stand where SAU have a number of cars representing. We'll be up on the back straight section near Brocky's Hill. Come and stay for a chin wag and a drink!
  18. Happy Belated Bday Jarrod! Hope you had a great one!
  19. Donnellans in Box Hill did a good job on my R a while ago.
  20. Yeah!!! Bells food! Bring it on!
  21. Great work Team SAU! Another outstanding effort. Evos are the shiznitz!
  22. I got roped by the GF to go to the opening ceremony. Admittingly, I'm in 2 minds. Yes I want to experience the Commonwealth Games while they're in my back yard but getting to and from work on the other 14 days is gonna suck massive wang! All major routes into the city are pretty much closed off so I'll try to get VPN access to work from home or I'm gonna work ungodly hours to avoid as much traffic as humanly possible.
  23. The time has come again for the Australian Grand Prix and once again Skylines Australia has been invited to particpate. Last year was 4 days of festivities for people who participated. Some drank, some slept, some watched the racing. The common factor of this though was that everyone had a ball!!! This year, a number of members have entered their cars to be presented again in the AutoSalon outdoor display along with other car clubs and AutoSalon show cars. The AutoSalon display will be along the back straight of Albert Park along Queens Road (Brock's Hill). Come and show your support for SAU and come and say hi if you plan to come to the grand prix. Come meet the members, check out the rides, stay and have a drink. You never know what you may see.
  24. I'm a big fan of the gold like in the photo attached. The carbon fiber look is defiantely HAWT though!!!
  25. Well it sounds like people had a ball out there! Once again another great event . Well done Ash and other organisers. I hear the Commonwealth Games baton relay was out 12 Apostles way too. Did anyone happen to catch that crowd? Who invited teh Telstar! along???
