  1. It starts at 8 so there is time to get dinner before we start. This will run for about 2 hours and then I think most of us are heading off to Ash's birthday celebrations! I reckon we all meet down in the Vegas Room at Crown at 1945 which will give us all time to settle in and be ready for a 2000 start. I will confirm the check in time with Crown when I confirm numbers. Come on people! 3 more and we'll have another full table. We should have enough people to make up 2 tables now but it would be better if we could make 2 full tables!
  2. Ask away mate. Anyone is invited to play! Just add them to the list if they wanna play.
  3. Come on people! 6 more to go and I'll hand confirm with Crown. It's gonna be a massive night!! Crown and then Ash's bday!
  4. Correct. This is for people who have no idea or very little idea about the game of No Limit Texas Holdem poker. They will teach you everything you need to know (given the amount of time) to play this version of poker. If you or your friends are interested, please copy and paste the names list and add yrselfs to the end of it.
  5. Happy Birthday Snowball!! Doesn't it seem that the older you get, the more expensive your toys become?? Troy, you will never mature mate Waking up in petrol stations is not becoming
  6. After some thinking and discussion, this will be an OPEN event. Anyone is invited. Currently the list stands as 1. Adz 2. Dee 3. Al 4. scott andrew (Let me drive) 5. Robert - i2obert 6. Ash 7. Bec 8. Dezz 9. Dezz's dad 10. marko ( my friend i2obert) 11. Adam 12. R33RWKW Tables have to finalised by Friday. I either need 8 more people otherwise I have to cull the list to 10. Paul, did you find out from your mates whether people are coming?
  7. What an awesome weekend! Congratualtions to all competetitors! We hope you had a great time. To all the volunteers and organisers, a job well done. Most people don't understand how much time and effort go into preparing for something like this. The committee has worked damn hard to make this event happen and I think we should all take the time to thank the motorsport reps for their efforts. Also, special thanks to the BBQ people and those who gave their time to make this a smooth running event. Great job people! A complete success by the looks of it. It can only get better from here. With more experience, things will run even smoother next time. Taco Bills and the Yahoo Bar went off in a way Shep has never seen before! Top weekend all! Can't wait for the next one!!
  8. Thanks for showing interest however until we receive your membership form and payment, we can't include you. If you are coming on the Portsea cruise this weekend, you may want to bring the form and payment then.
  9. Happy Bday Chris!
  10. The BP on Warriagal Rd near the SE Arterial was out on Sat as was the BP on Swan St in Richmond as was the BP on Church St That's good enough enough for me to say there's a shortage.
  11. Negative Capt. I was looking for it for a while too. Ended up going the Synergy route coz I passed a Mobil. On another note though, I hear Sloptimax Extreme got released yesterday.
  12. Do Luck for GTRs. The Veilside Fortune RX7 is also up there as the best body kit of all time!

Not a bad show indeed. Dropped in on Sunday for a couple hours to catch up with old and new faces. The girls from Kittens were defiantely nice girls and lovely to talk too Also the girls from Autobahn put up a good show as usual! Hung round the dyno cage most of the time and watched a few nice cars get up there. Benny's 180SX made some decent numbers as did a yellow S14 owned by a guy in wheelchair. 300+rwkw and a disabled sticker... GOLD!! Missed out on watching the RB26 powered GTS-T and Platinum (VL Turb) run again but was still not a bad show. Congrats to the Cabin crew for running another sucessful AutoSalon! Pics will go up later when I can be stuffed.

I'll pop my head in during the weekend at some point to say hi to competitors and Cabin Crew. NFI on price. Haven't had to pay as a spectator for years. Not going to this time either
  17. How many of these "younger rich" people do you think there are in this country besides OS students and the occasional person who gets an awesome 21st bday present? Personally, I love the GTR but for 120k, there's a lot of nice cars out there including the Porsche Cayman. Maybe not as quick, but damn it's a sexy car with the heritage of Porsche.
  18. Not if they have to pay ppl decent salaries. They also gotta sell a few more "high end" models before they'd even consider it. It'd be interesting to see how many GTRs they sell if they decide to import them.
  19. Photo is a bit vague but amusing none the less Don't worry. The Sat convoy will get there on time with me driving and Ash navigating I have full confidence in Ash being punctual and knowing where he's going...
  20. I know someone with a manual rolling turbo S13 Silvia they are trying to sell. Chipped ECU, exhaust and a few other pretty bits. Think he wants 5.5k for the whole thing. Perfectly good running order. Just needs to paintwork. If yr interested, PM me.
  21. That's cool! I'm going to the launch of the game tonight. I'm also supplying the cars for the show Should be fun.
  22. I've met Steve before too. Not really a lot of great stuff to say about him except he got my hopes up and it simply turned out to be nothing more than a complete pipe dream. No different to any other tyre kicker wanting to buy my car except he spun his crap better than anyone else. Que sera sera.
  23. Don't let the size fool you mate. I eat more than a lot of people I know and I eat 6 times a day
  24. I remember seeing Golgo the first time on Chapel on night many moons ago. Other memories (some good, some bad ) Golgo being broken into a few years back and all the cool ricey stuff stolen from inside. I hope those f*ckers were caught and hung by the balls! The sexy side of Golgo on O so many cruises. Cruising right next to him and then blasting away after dropping to 3rd Ahhh, Beauty and the Beast. Pulling over on Swan St for a bit of a chat under the bridge. When a simply honk won't do Giving Golgo a righteous fang around Winton and then looking like a complete f*cktard when I spun him and then to make things worse, another spin with the windows open totally filling the interior and engine bay with dust. Dusty brown interiors aren't very sexy. James calling me recently asking questions about how to maintain the GTR when sh!te goes wrong. The ancient art of removing a battery from a 33. The "Accidental Lock In" was also hilarious. The bike rack on Golgo at MAS this year was a classic. Truely a family car. "GTR Support Vehicle" Last but not least (as I'm finished thinking) FLAMES ON DEMAND!!!!!!!!! Good luck to the new owner. Please treat Goglo with the respect it deserves.
