  1. How much power does this engine produce?
  2. Take heat shield off turbo, 10mm spanner for that one. Need a seal pick of some sort to get the clip of the actuator flap. then pull the rod off that, unbolt off compressor housing, and bolt new one on, removing and replacing vacume hoses! Done - 10 min job.
  3. More info... By the looks you have a RB25... Stock turbo? What actuator have you got to replace it with? And why do you need to change it?
  4. Series 1 = Green sticker Series 2 = Pink sticker
  5. Wow 12mm lift Cant wait to see some video of it idling and at WOT
  6. Its means the injector is leaking... Probly one of the o-rings is split. Im not sure how it would recognise this fault, maybe a big vary in one of the inj duty cycle? The knock sensors can pick up noise from the missfire and log that it was detonation, And In your case it sounds like the spark plugs/plugs are foulded. Pull the injectors out replace the o-rings in all injectors, even while their out get them flow tested/cleaned make sure theirs nothing wong inside the injector - I wouldnt think this is common. Also if it was that bad, change the oil... fuel in the sump = spinning bearings! See how you go!
  7. I would hope so, We dont exactually know how its strapped down? A dyno graph would be of great help, with power/boost/afrs...
  8. Matty did tell me this aswel. He said about 10% due to the old version of DD software.
  9. I've seen them maxed out at 190rwkws - stock turbo/series 2 RB25 Also depends what turbo you are running as to how much airflow it takes max it out. Max AFM = 5.1vlts
  10. I've seen them maxed out at 190rwkws - stock turbo. Also depends what turbo you are running.
  11. Tacho will most likly read higher than FC... Same with speed.
  12. Here's your options... 1bar / 14.5psi - possibly blow turbos to bits. .83? / or 12psi - Car will go well, turbo's will last longer! More power = more fuel, so yes if you have a heavy right foot on high boost the economy is worse! Cruise shouldnt be any different.
  13. Sounds good jase... Looking foward to hearing the results! What size cams are in it now?
  14. MBS206, Might be on the money... Either that or you have serious boost drop, serious ign timing retard! stock cams are capable of 300rwkws! Perhaps its spinning the wheels on the dyno?
  15. Do a search! Pull spark plugs out and re-gap them.
  16. Its "about" 1.#hp per 1 deg C... Looking good the 2530's are consitant performers!
  17. Yep, Leaner mixtures straight up! Martin donnon did a write up in hpi I think.
  18. Lean mixtures is the most common... to hot = meltdown. Detonation can weaken the piston over time, depending on how bad it is
  19. HKS 3037 may get you their easier with out having to run lots of boost. Depends on if you like good response or a little lag? nengun are good with prices.
  20. Oh i forgot to mention Alcon are light weight for the size of them - 380mm rotors and the caliper to fit them! I surpose it depends on what size you get aswel.
  21. Alcon are a good break but very expensive!
