  1. Sorry for trying to put a smile on peoples faces. I think your impertanence says more about you than me.
  2. OK...... No worries. They may be Hella brand so just go to an Auto Electrician. They should be able to get the covers for you. Bob.
  3. OK........ The only ones that came std with them were the 100 Australian delivered cars. Yes...... They fitted 300ZX side blinkers. I have 1 brand new (NOS - New Old Stock with free dust) and 1 very good second hand one. I found the NOS but need to hunt a bit more for the second hand unit. You can have the pair for $75.00 delivered within Australia. Cheers, Bob.
  4. LOL.......... If you're Sydney based I'd probably know him! Ironically I've had 3 VC HDT's which are the original 1980 ones. Made 500 based on an SLE so it had all the plush stuff. All 3 were Firethorn Red (Burgundy), 2 manuals and 1 auto. Bought the best one in December 2003 and sold it in August 2007 at the height of the Australian Muscle Car boom. Good cars but light years from an R32 GT-R. Roughly tens years between them but it's horse and cart stuff by comparison. Anyway here are a few pics from 2006. Cheers, Bob.
  5. I drove a manual up until 1985.......... Drove Auto Commodores and Falcons until 2003. Bought a manual Brock Commodore then......... 18 years between gear changes. I was comfortable with it inside 500 metres. Sorry your post doesn't make sense. Bob.
  6. +1....... Many thanks Trish, Terry and Exec team.. Bob.
  7. LOL........ Just noticed, Mine are red and silver too!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Congratulations on your purchase. I kept my eye on that car and noticed it was off Carsales early last week. I too have two GT-R's, a 100% stock ADM and a slightly modified V-Spec 2. As good as the VS2 is, the stock ADM is just so nice......... Light clutch, super quite, nice ride......... The VS2 is substantially faster but a lot more tiring to drive. Louder, a lot stiffer and harsher in the suspension plus a firmer clutch. Cheers and enjoy........ Bob.
  9. What turbos are you running? STD ones sort of max out around 300KW. My V-Spec2 GT-R has Nistune with........... HKS Boost controller 3" Turbo Back HKS Exhaust with Hi-flow Cat. 720cc Sard Injectors Upgraded Walbro Fuel Pump Splitfire Coils Nismo AFS Dynoed at 271rwkw's on a pretty safe tune and I'm very happy with it courtesy of Unigroup Engineering. Next step is upgraded dumps, better turbos probably N1's (Mine are stockers) Adjustable cam gears. Not sure if that's all I need to get to about 320rwkw's. Cheers, Bob.
  10. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/454438-s-a-u-n-s-w-autumn-tech-event-saturday-2nd-may-10am/ Bob.
  11. Pics would be nice........... I'm 99.9% sure air conditioning was an option on Nismos. Just remember, these were homologated specials meaning if they had air std then they would have had to run with air in the race cars. The whole idea of these cars was to make them as light as possible for the same reason. Bob.
  12. Wow....... http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/NISSAN/SKYLINE/0130150101D4003305013/index.html Thats about A$77,00.00........ Bob.
  13. Well done Raj.......... Great day, really enjoyed it! Hopefully I'll see most of you at the Tech Day in a few weeks. Bob.
  14. Cool.......... I'll be there at the end of August so I'm keen to see if they are still there. Bob.
  15. Weather looks to be ok......... http://www.bom.gov.au/nsw/forecasts/katoomba.shtml Bob.
  16. Yes you can............ http://jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=79&cartype=50&fig=991&page=1 Bob.
  17. This car sold for the equivalent of approx. $50,000 landed complied and registered. http://www.j-spec.com.au/auction/SEVS/1990-Nissan-Skyline-5701471.html That's pretty much inline with an Australian Delivered R32 GT-R. I'd say they are worth roughly the same money all things considered. Bob.
  18. No........ They were very clever in the way they blended it into the line on the edge of the roof. Here are some pics with the addition of factory weld spots replicated perfectly. Bob.
  19. It means........... Series 1 cars from 8/1989 till 8/1991 weighed 1430 kgs. The series two cars from there after weighed 1480 kgs with the addition of side intrusion bars in the doors and a few other additions accounting for the extra 50kgs. On a different note, I am very interested to know how much interest is being created in these car since being allowed to be imported. The USA is a potential massive market that could swallow up available cars very quickly. Do these cars have a strong following or is the fact that they are all right hand drive a turn off to most? Cheers, Bob.
  20. Here we have a Factory Standard R32 GT-R Speedometre/Odometre cluster. The mileage reads 125,375 kms. I replaced this unit with a NISMO unit as you can see via the packaging. It will come repackage within the Nismo packaging for safety reasons. It is in perfect working order................. $35.00 I will post this cluster registered anywhere in Australia for $20.00 or local pick up in Castle Hill welcome.
  21. Here we have a Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R passenger Door Trim / Door card. I replaced mine with a new one so can now offer this one for sale. It is in pretty good condition however if you look very closely, you will notice some very minor previous repair work. Unless this is going to be fitted onto a show car it will be fine. It comes as illustrated in the photos including the window switch. Please note this sale item is for PICK UP ONLY from Castle Hill in Sydney. That said, I may be able to help out with delivery within the metro area for a minor fee. $30.00 Bob.
  22. Interesting info...... Thanks for sharing. Bob.
  23. Very funny. It was actually the wheels that got me thinking it was you........ Let's face it, silver ADM with those wheels. Not many of them around! Only 24 ever made and I know of at least 1 that has gone to god! Bob.
