  1. Hey Sk here are 2 pictures that you may be able to use. If you need any more or different angles.. Just ask and Ill run out with the Digi cam Hope these help
  2. hmm thats not a bad idea.. thing is.. what is the PCV? and what you are asying (using my little image ) the blue and yellow hook up normaly. The red one goes to one of the inlets on the catch can and the other to the inlet pipe. thing that I was wondering.. I was hoping to change the pipe from the AFM to the turbo to a metal (stainless) one. How would this be set up?
  3. Hey guys... Just nocked up this little image in Paint to try and help figure this out... From what I can gather.. The Blue and yellow ones hook up to either side of the oil air catch can (vented one of cause) and the Red one (that usally goes to the inlet pipe before the turbo gets blocked off) Is this right guys? hope this helps.
  4. Hey SK yeah thats basicly what I am asking. can I use an R32 RB25DE top fuel rail on an RB25DET inlet manifold and head. Clearance will not be a problem as I have got a custom frount facing plenum. Thanks guys.
  5. I honestly belive that It would be the CAS problem because my car does the EXACT same thing as that.. With the start up I'm not sure about. to check the cas you need to replace it/borrow one/ steal one... what ever I Don't know how to check a CAS anyother way...
  6. Sounds a LOT like a CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) problem. I know that with my R33. Untill it warms up it dosn't matter how much I try to boot it. It's not going anywhere (it makes full boost as well) . There was a thread about this a while ago and what people were finding it was MOSTLY happening when the engine was sitting at 61degrees (Mine does it till it warms up). Untill it warms up it will just keep ripping the timing out of the car. I'm using this as more of a good thing than a bad (I know its not a good thing) because it means that I have altered my driving style to allow the car to warm up properly before I try to do anything. As for the Starter problem I don't know what that could be. I would assume that it is Cas related as well. Hope this helps
  7. It's the Aircon - My Skyline has done it for ages. From searching the fourms for an answer it basicly came to somthing very small and very expensive to fix... Have a look its somwhere out there
  8. Hey guys. I have got a R33 RB30DET running the RB25DET head. It has come time that I want to do more upgrades and don't want to run low on fuel supply. After talking with SK i have found out about a fuel pump (Bosh 044) now I'm keen on finding out about injectors and fuel regulators. I have got a R32 RB25DE fuel rail that I would like to use on it because it has the ability to use top feed injectors (rx7 550cc injectors). Is this possible at all? Running it will not be a problem (I think) as I'm going to be getting a power fc to run it all. Also was thinking of using a Malpasi Rising Rate regulator. I'm hoping to get about 300 - 350rwkw But I will be VERY happy when I am able run a mid 12 and will most probaly stop for a while when I get to this point (GF want's to get some Land and start house shopping and has agreed to let me keep spending money on the car till it runs a mid 12) I have done some searching on here for info about using this setup but the thread I found was stopped half way through the process.. Take it easy guys
  9. sorry to begin a hijack of your thread here... But how do you know when you need to goto a different heat range plug? "Dont get the 5 heat range plugs. Not needed. Stick with 6 as suggested."
  10. SK please read *^^^*
  11. Hey SK - I have been thinking about my upgrade power path.. and was wondering if I will need bigger injectors? I read in another thread that you were sayind that you have been able to get 420cc's out of the stock r33 injectors just with the GTR fuel pump. How would this with a 044 and a pressure regulator go? Will this be enough for my wanted 300 - 350 rwkw? I'm thinking no but I don't know (hence the question) What I was looking at was the rx7 550cc side feed injectors.. If I did need bigger injectors would these be good enough? Sorry to pick your brain again mate. Thanks
  12. Yeah I have one for sale. pm me if you like
  13. Thanks for the info SK I'm just waiting for to get the 044 now and then ill be following what you said to externaly mount it. Only thing is.. while you are taking photos of the internal set up could you also take a snap of the join that you were saying about. Thanks mate
  14. Hey thanks for that man So the 044 is an external pump according to the bosh website.. how would I mount this? as for the turbo.. not to sure trying to keep it on the small side as i want respone beacuse it is a street car.
  15. im after 300 - 350rwkw's A nice hopefully relible 12 second maby high 11 car. mods to go onto the car are Parts i have (not installed on the car yet) frount mount custom plenum - ford throtle body - gtr intercooler (using the intercooler piping specs you sent me sydneykid) - Rb30 radiator (using stock radiator oil cooler as a fuel cooler) Still to come 3inch dump pipe - high flow cat 3.5inch from there back - power fc - rising rate regulator - q45 afm - oil air seperator - Adjustable cam gears - thermo fans - stronger clutch I'm waiting to get everything I want before I put it all on the car so I only have to get one good tune. Not have 3 or 4 tunes due to new parts. its already got whats listed below. The original reason for running a surge tank was because in the future im hoping to use the car for some track work. Nothing extreamly serious.. just go out to the drift zone days maby some track days and of cause a bit of Drags.. Do I really need a tank for this? is this possible? any more info please ask thanks guys
  16. Hey guys Its late and im playing around with some ideas for fuel pump setups on my 33 before i goto bed. was thinking of running the stock fuel pump into a surge tank. So using it as a filler pump just to keep the tank full. With outlets for 2 pumps. From there running 2 of the standard r33 fuel pumps. At the moment its working in my head. I think it would work a lot better. Comments please guys.. Thanks
  17. if you need a RB25DE botom end or RB25DET botom end message me have one of each im wanting to sell
  18. I have non turbo ones - inlet and zaust.. in brisbane
  19. one thing i would like to know is what about oil blow through geting onto the afm? how does this affect the afm's ability to work correctly?
  20. I realise im bringing up an old thread here.. But how have people gone with this?
  21. I noticed it as well but didnt want to seem like a fool if i was wrong
  22. I agree - Stock Tyers is a bit small - but back then 16's were big! A larger intercooler (r34 style.. but yet again... 10 years later)
  23. I would say that you are probaly wasting your cash man. It would be easier to just sell the NA and then buy the Turbo.. If you have a look at a lot of the importers atm they are getting HEAPS of R33 turbos in VERY cheap atm.. last night I recived notification of one that came with Aftermarket turbo - intercooler zaust etc etc for only 15K have a look at some of them.. might be worth your time
  24. yeah seams so.. i just put a rb30det into the skyline.. and it works all good
