Well now after replacing the starter, the heater core has decided to kark it. What is even better is that it is not covered under the warrantee that I got with the car, yaay. SO I already know it is going to be a BITCH of a job, requiring the whole dash to be removed, so does anyone know if the heater core is the same as the R34/R33 heater core? If so I might be able to get away with getting a second hand one from a wrecker and spending a weekend pulling the damn thing apart and putting the new one in. If not, then order one from Nissan and pay a crapload more and still spend a weekend piss farting around. On that note, anyone feel like helping *cough* me out, I'll provide the beer, I have no tools, and no knowhow, so if worst comes to worst I'll hand it over to a workshop and pay for ~9hours of labour to get it done ATM it is drivable because it has a bypass, so it should be fine for a while, just no heat through the air system. How long should that last for? If it should last for a while, I might leave it until after December as this might take another sizable chunck out of my wedding fund, something I dont want to do. Suggestions, advice and ridicule all welcome

Bit off topic, I'll PM you the details, might try to keep this thread about the manual conversion Which i have no idea how it was done, Gary1 is better off answering the questions as he actually did it all himself, well with the help of Mecury Motorsports up here in Brisbane.

Right now I dont know, and cant afford the good tune it desperatly needs, ~200awkw has been mentioned before about this vehilce, but it would just be a stab in the dark at a guess. Seat of the pants says it is WAAAAAAAAAY faster than my old r33 gtst with 180rwkw. When it moves down here with my (soon to be) wife, I plan to give it a very muchly needed dyno tune and then take it down the quarter to see what she is made of Early next year that should all happen as all my finances are going into our wedding in December, after that it'll be time to have some fun with the stag

Does it have no cat at all...... hmmmm I have heard that no cat = HUGE fines when a cop looks under your car and see's no cat then there is a much high probability that you will get reamed. Best thing to do is to get a cat and gut it and whack that in, then at least it looks like there is a cat there to the cops. Which can be easily changed for a proper cat + stock zaust to clear defects. Side pipes are illeagal as they have no cat, and are freakin loud. I'll take a pic of Revheads side pipe he uses for track purposes, it is louder than a 747!! Sounds awesome, but not worth the tens of thousands you might get in fines if pulled over.

Yeah ummmm I am not too keen to start ripping off the surronds, mainly because I only see the car on the weekends atm, and dont want to ripp it all off and not be able to get it back on, yes it is possible for me to be that unco No way it is going up on a hoist as I do not know anyone close by that would put it up for me. I do understand that pics of the surround are goign to be useless though so we'll see what I can do, I'll try to get some pics of underneath the car, but dont know what I am really looking for though, so I'll just go crazy and take as many as I can
