Oh and when I was running totally stock I dyno'd 132rwkw, then just after putting a cat back zaust on, no other changes, 2 weeks later at the same dyno I got 147rwkw. Just goes to show just how much power can be gained by using the right exhaust system. In the end with my pipe, pod, fmic, bleed valve set to 10psi and SAFC I got 177rwkw, not bad considering I started off with 132rwkw.

Nope but I did have a SAFC installed and tuned. Personally I would actually drop the cat and cat back off if I was going to the track, or go to any good exhaust shop and get them to make a small pipe with a bend it it to shoot the fumes out the side of the car and bolt it up to where the cat usually goes, then you'll get some noise!!! Of course if you then decided to drive this on the road and get caught you would be in VERY big trouble, sounds absolutly hella good though! Revhead on here has a small pipe which he fits to his R33 with a PowerFC for track days, with his hybrid t3/t4 turbo, all you hear is that sweet high pitch whislte of boost once it comes on!

I ran a straight through zaust on my old r33, only had 4 bends in the whole thing (1 turbo down, 2 bend to flat, 3 just past the cat(which was gutted), 4 just a small bend to get around the rear diff) and what I thought was a muffler was actually a bit of stainless steel welded around the pipe to make it look like a muffler. Was VERY loud, apparently, well it was not drony or loud in the cabin.... Anyway ran 7psi fine and ran 12psi with fmic fine, for 18mths.

I did the rounds when buying my Stagea, and ended up with Unique Car Insurance, were cheaper, had the options I wanted and pay by the month.

OK I'm the new owner of Gary's beast, I dont mind taking pics, I'll borrow digital camera for the weekend and go crazy, so what pics do you want? And I am by no means a mechanic so just tell me where you want the camera pointed at in small words a four year old could understand and I'll do my best Oh and going from a fairly modded r33 (~180rwkw) to this beast (??awkw) was the best decision i ever made, the stagea has a lot more grunt running on about the same boost, and handles a lot better, mainly due to the stagea having proper suspension setup, shocks and springs and the old r33 had stock suspension.

Hmmmmmm that is a lot of money just for that look, cant justify it for about 5 years I reckon, yes I will be whipped sometime soon . But yeah cool thanks for the info, still looks damn nice dont it Oh also was pointed ou tthe the rear guards would look better if they were flared, as from the perspective of the camera that took those photo's it looks like the rear is not as wide as the front, as the gtr panels really fflare out, but still, I like it!

So I have seen 2 stagea's with R34 fronts on them here in Brisbane, a silver one and a yellow one. Noob question, how involved is this? I think it looks shit hot and wouldnt mind doing it, but atm $1 is out of my price range. I know they are out there, but how much of a hassle is it? How legal is it, do you need a mod plate?

That is one VERY NICE looking stagea!! You were looking a bit impatient as normal no one was letting you in, typical! Still I so want a 260RS front bar........ but yeah VERY VERY nice!! You would not have reckognised me even if I did wave as I was in a gold EA as in my sig. Still you live on the northside? SK That looks great! Good work with the scoop for the stock snorkel and the temperature research too!! Have you got a template? As I wouldnt mind one of these, but my stagea did not come with the stock air box, just a K&N pod so wouldnt mind just cutting and bending one up?
