  1. Well the new screen just went in. So the story is, called up Novus @ Burpengary (Northside of Brisbane) and it took 2 days to arrive from their glass supplier to them and it went in today. It would've gone in sooner but just couldnt arrange a time that suited my fiance to take it in. When I asked about the costings for it was told that it was about on par and comparable to other commodore/falcon average prices. They werent allowed to tell me exact as per Unique Car Insurance instructions. Other than that it all was a pretty simple process
  2. I prefer the 260rs kit, still looks way more agressive to me.
  3. Well probably as the front will have the same power as the rears, so logic would dictate that a launch with 4 wheels driving would be better than a launch with 2 wheels driving and then having 4 kick in. Still that means that you have 4 wheels driving all the time, which I dont know is a good or bad thing? I have done some playing around with the snow button and she seems to get up and go a lot quicker with it on, dont realy notice anything different when just driving around normally, except for the HICAS light coming on when the snow button is pushed down. I checked and no I dont have a HICAS unit on the back so I assume that the light is infact showning me that the snow button has been engaged. Anyone else done any researching on it?
  4. Yeah that would be great
  5. How did I find it, just loaded up the nissan japan site and saw a picture so clicked on it. Ian, noice pics eh!
  6. Just a little shockwave video thingy from the nissan japan site, didnt know if anyone would be interested in watching it but I reckon it's cool. Nice picks of the M35, inside and out. Shockwave Stagea Presentation
  7. Well I found that the stock coils on my r33 died after I went above 12psi, well they were fine until I hit ~4500rpm and then would cough and splutter. I whacked in a set of these and didnt have a problem after that. There are a lot of different opinions about stock coils vs splitfires, but I have had only good experiances with splitfires. My 2cents, dont buy them until you need them. And make sure you identify the coils specifically as a problem before you buy splitfires as what seems to be coils might be another problem, and buy splitfires might cover-up other issues, but then again I am by no means a mechanic, nor do I know much about cars or motors, just typing from experiance.
  8. I already have splitfire's
  9. So Ian, have you got a contact for where we could source these from? I dont mind doing some ringing around, looks like there might be 2 or 3 of us here who might want one. Unfortunatly I wont be looking at buying mine till the new year though.
  10. there you go it works now, dunno why it wasnt??
  11. yeah dunno why, just do a search for stagea and it ends in like 5 days
  12. Not that I need them, but cheap splitfires: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SPLITFIRE-Coils-Nis...1QQcmdZViewItem

  14. Looks sweet, just be prepared to stetch your boot lid locking mechanisim
  15. I dont get much attention, until I really give it that peoples heads turn and start asking questions. I bought mine for one main reason, I needed room for two kids which my old R33 coupe just didnt cut it. I think it is a perfect family car, loads of room inside and the one I got it much faster (seat of the pants guage) and handles better than my old R33 with ~180rwkw. But factor in that the stagea had a but-load more mods, especially in the suspension deptartment as the R33 was running stock suspension. Overall I love it, the feeling and performance of a GTR, with the space of a wagon. Without the attraction other imports get from the police.
  16. Sounds like a winner Ian! If it is all electric, is it compatible with other replacement electrics, such as EBC's and PowerFC's? Oh and ball park figure for costs?
  17. Well I was looking at a mates relatively new Maxima (last years model) and noticed that his steering wheel looks like mine, then I noticed that his cruise control buttons pop out of the left side of the steering wheel and took a look and on my steering wheel there is a place where the plastic is marked which looks like it would be an exact fit for the cruise control module. So can we order a cruise control from nissan australia and will it work?
  18. GO YOU GOOD THING! That is Awesome!
  19. The system has been SOLD!
  20. Well the guys at Novus were great, told them it was covered under insurance and they said sure, we'll just order one from nissan and give ya a ring when it gets here,
