  1. Good luck to you all! You'll be prepping for Prologue by the time I'm back from my weekend away Have fun and GO HARD!!!
  2. Cop probably should been parked up the road a little huh......... fkn two heads.
  3. Maybe.... (I joke of course ) Are you in the ML55?
  4. See how cocky I am when I'm not competing this year. Ten bucks says we can beat your time over Arrowsmith in our borrowed STi Snowy
  5. Stop worrying, you'll be fine. We pissed it in when we ran the 34. Yours will be tuned leaner than ours was, AND you'll be off the throttle more, because, well, you're a pussy.
  6. It's a shame a lot of the pics on the first page are broken. I was looking forward to seeing all the kits side by side I have a genuine C-West kit on my 34 GTR and I love it, with 10.5" rims it makes it look like it's got a wide body
  7. If you fill between Queenstown and Arrowsmith you'll be stuck in there until road re-opens Ben. That's why most fill before Queenstown, then diverts around the back to Hobart. Not the end of the world if you plan on being right down the back with Jim and YT though
  8. Is it that badly tuned (or that illegal) that it needs that much fuel?
  9. But I have a much more trustworthy face.
  10. I'm setting up refuel 5klm before the end of Arrowsmith. $20- a litre. For E10.
  11. As you can tell by the prices they pull at auction, if a 34 has a blown engine or box it will simply be replaced or repaired. It's not like they're at a value whereby if the engine is blown they're worth nothing. So, if you were to find one with a blown donk, it would likely only be cheaper by the value of a rebuild engine. Even if you were to find one like this, the extra shipping costs due to it not being drivable with outweigh any real benefit.
  12. Some cool bloke with a wicked name doing an Epic lap of the Nurburgring in a modified 996 Turbo. The car is simply awesome, the driving is beautiful, enjoy ** I ripped this off Dane's Facebook, nice find mate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6FXH6E5Zzg...player_embedded
  13. If you decide on Teins I can hook you up mate. PM me We just removed a set from my mate's 34 GTR, jst to put a more track focussed system in.
  14. Correction. I meant top ups for E85 fule guzzlers in that position. Not reg 98 mates. Slow day at the office Burgz? Wee came out when I heard your story with the coppa yesterday
  15. And dare I say it, a Facebook page? Virtually everyone at Targa is on Facebook
  16. Vandenbergs always say they're only having fuel at Tarraleigh, and always end up having a splash and dash spot at the intersection after the Strahan stage before you enter Queenstown.
  17. Good arm from pulling himself constantly?
  18. I heard they'll be placing a fuel rig between Queenstown and Arrowsmith mate. Maybe contact race control to get the facts?
  19. I'm with Warps, I couldn't read all the immature crap in this thread, so I just winged it with my EXPERIENCES; First thing to understand with Type R Hondas is they're not MEANT to be quarter mile warriors. These cars are all about winding roads, second and third gear, hard on the brakes, heel/toe back to second, tip it in hard, nail it for the exit, HUGE rpms. The DC2 is one of the BEST cars I've ever driven, bar none. No, it won't impress you in a straight line if you're used to Skyline quick, but if you just love things that rev sweetly into the strotosphere, they're fantastic! I've only driven an EP3 in a built up area, but I reckon they too would be well wicked in the right circumstances. And that's it in a nutshell, these cars are great, in the right circumstances. Just don't expect your face to be rearranged in a straight line.
  20. You've been V quiet Greg. How's the car repair comin along mate?
  21. What do you mean Sponge?
  22. When's Supercars on? Sorry. Traditionally Tugga Tas is in May, very early this year being in late April. You lose approx 250 tarmac rally cars to that event, and most guys aren't keen to commit to an event at the other end of the country within 4/5 weeks. It doesn't really allow the turn around time, whether it be family time, car repairs (or replacement!). So that's one issue. The other is, IMO, you're pushing shit up hill trying to get interstate cars up for a rally that doesn't consist of at least 200 competetive kilometres. It is a LONG way to travel for a relatively short event, no matter how much fun it is I think moving it back just one month to mid July could make all the difference? Let's round table it over a few beers when I see you
  23. ummmm, it's factory 34 GTR wheels, on a 34 GTR champ.
