  2. So Proud of Mik our DIY Guy. Great improvement. The recent mods allowed changing into 3rd gear up the hill which meant more speed / Better times. Will be even better next time mate! Goodonya!
  3. Do the Hustle!!! Turns out my oil temp works just fine as I did hook it to the sensor but the car didn't get warm enough to register. 1000 @ 100km / hr on the highway. Now to get my water sensor adapter on...
  4. Think it ends about 3pm. We here now.
  5. Who's coming out to Sutton to see the new improved Mik Mobile?
  6. I may have this pipe. Have you considered a same side cooler? I have been thinking maybe...
  7. Fixed? When I was in Holt it was 2615. Grew up with 2602!
  8. Mechanical boost and electric water and oil temp. That's the gauge I wanted and the guy I got from. I have sent him a message about the mismatch. I like them.
  9. Sweet! Gauges are in (Not all sensors hooked up yet) but the boost gauge works well. Snappier response than my old Type-R Ebay jobby. Will have to do some trickery to get some Red or Blue leds in them but for now we have Default Bulb Glow.
  10. That's ECR33110332 thankyou Mr Posie. R33 4door Pride ya flamin mongrel... 6003
  11. HI EVERYBODY!!! So Sorry 1298. 6001
  12. OK... this is my 6000th Post. only been 5 weeks-ish since the 5000. Still, at least I'm not a Mega Whore like Luke. (I swear he does a thousand a week.)
  13. To clean underneath, Jack it up and use axle stands or a Big Fat Paver etc under each wheel.
  14. There is No need for you to replace the stock BOV you already have. Skylines use a Plumb back setup where the BOV releases the pressurized air back into the system via the BOV return pipe which lets the air return back into the intake pipe, between the Airflow Meter and the turbo where it will be used. This air has been measured by the Airflow Meter which tells the ECU how much air and the ECU then allows a suitable amount of Fuel to go with it. The BOV you ask about, is an Atmospheric BOV, meaning that it will release the Air outside of the Engine. Doing this, the ECU will have allocated so much fuel to match the measured air, but that air will no longer be in the system so there will be too much fuel. This is notorious for causing the engine to stall in Gearchange and clutch in situations. If you get an ECU that runs a Manifold Pressure Sensor instead of an Airflow Meter, it won't be a problem and you can use any old BOV you like. Other downsides to an Atmo BOV is they draw unwanted attention from the Police as they create excessive noise and also the fact that oily vapours are being released into the air instead of being burnt off in the engine. That and the Tosser/ Wank Factor. Sell it and use the Funds for stuff you need. Edit* it looks like an HKS SSQV BOV or a fake one. Look Here ---->> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/bolt-tech/455246-how-spot-fake-hks-ssqv-bov.html
  15. The Stainless muffler will be welded to a Steel Pipe which will need to bolt up at the diff, so I guess the Flange will likely just be a Mild Steel one. I probably don't really need it as the whole welding/ bolting is only $120 to do. But if I get him to do the multi-flange choice a) then I would need 3 flanges to be able to swap from muffler to cannon at will. Maybe can I get both from you for $$$ just in case? or grab them and if I don't use them, I'll give them back to you.
  16. One of these things is Not like the other... I didn't realise til I pulled the Boost Gauge out (last) that they don't match. I specificaly went for the ones with the black dealy on the needle. Oh well, I'll put them in anyway and maybe buy another one. If anyone is keen for an all Red Needled one, perhaps we can do a trade or something.
  17. Maybe later Big Fella. Too Knackered lastnite. Thanks Mik but I asked the guy (Roadway Exhaust) what the best way to go would be. a) Cut the Cannon off and put a flange on it + the pipe + the muffler. He reckoned too Many Flanges. I told him you can NEVER have too many Flanges. *giggles* b) Weld a pipe and flange onto the Muffler. This he is going to do. Mild steel pipe is half the price of Stainless and will last ten years.
