  1. Sexy yes. Ear bleeding maybe. Cop Magnet, most likely. as I said before though, I changed from Blitz Canon to Twin tip Muffler. Is much more sexy now.
  2. Dunno what the compatibility is between R33,R34,Stag etc but King Spring Lows are generally 30mm lower than stock. Same with Lovells or Auroras I believe. If they will fit, they should do.
  3. I nearly lost my shit when I read the "woopty doo, I'll deck ya" comment before it was edited... shame. still laughing...
  4. Apexi SAFC + tune. $500ish all up. A little bit of money for a little bit of power.
  5. You could always get a decent sized, free flowing mid muffler to quieten it.
  6. You too Huh? I took my Blitz Nur canon off and put a 3" Magnaflow Straight thru muffler with a twin tip on. Love it. (too old for Canons) Droneless but nasty at WOT.
  7. Yup Springs. (Just buy the above^^^) Not hard to install. (I just put some Nismo springs in the 33 and love it.) and yes! Red Calipers. Do it. Very Nice looking Stag you have too.
  8. I praised whoever's idea it was to polish the concrete. Nice and smooth makes it easy to slide in under the car. On the battery issue, I bought a CTEK charger off Ebay that will Trickle for months if need be. (recommended by NRMA Guy) Can supposedly make a battery last for up to 8yrs when used regularly as a car never actually fully recharges the battery. Ebay Link --->> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300824532033?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Mad Progress on the paint job too Mik! Gonna be sweet. Today I fixed the Wagz's rear bumper as it has never sat straight due to some damage in it's previous life and didn't look all that good. Since the Wagz has been off the road for a fortnight, I removed the bumper and Reo a week or so ago and bent the Reo brackets back to normalish. This plus a couple of washers got it sitting fairly straight again. So today I Sikaflexed the Badger out of it to reattach the mounting brackets to the inside of the bumper and wacked it back on. (Hopefully this will stop the Major Rattle also). Yet to test drive. Much more aesthethically Pleasing. One More Crease Ironed.
  9. I chuckled. and yeah, OP is right... Nothing wrong with Badgers. They is Coot.
  10. It's the Cringe Factor of labelling it something that it's not. Might aswell put an "Urvan" or "Dualis" badge on while you're at it. Just cause a Fella wears a dress and straps on a fake pair of boobs, doesn't make him a chick.
  11. Does it only do it when the car is a a certain temp? for example... My old 94 Bluebird would consistently do this on the same 500m stretch on the way to work every morning. Turned out to be the CAS.
  12. Just out of interest, when I replaced my seals I used whatever Phillips screwdriver I had handy and did the screws up tight. When I went to my Tuner a couple of weeks later, he pulled out his No. 3 screwdriver and a small ratchet spanner and did them up much tighter. He reckoned they would've leaked the way I did them. Personally I just reused the old washers too.
  13. This eve I installed the One Piece Tailshaft in the SkyWagz. Took me about 2hrs of rolling round on the Garage floor. Only drove around the block (maxish of 60km/hr) but so far so good. Seems the old tailshaft has been played with before. Perhaps bearing replacement but I'm certain the bearing is shagged now and maybe the CV joint also. Much less noises than she has ever had in my ownership and much smoother too.
  14. Awesome News! Glad to hear.
  15. Yeah the tank access in the boot.
  16. I wouldn't pull out the sender yet (even though it's good fun! ) but just have a look around the tank lid area for any "Extra" wiring. Boost mod eliminates the 5-7 psi yes. Likely prior to the Boost controller.
  17. The reason I wanted / want the KU31s is (may not be a fair comparison but...) the wheels I got off Ebay for the Micra had near new KU31s on them. Felt very good and grippy. They have since done over 30,000ks and still look new.
  18. When I last got tyres on my 17s the KU31s were gonna be $150 each. Instead (thanks to the Managers stuff up) I got Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 235/45ZR17 for the same price. (should've been $250 each)
  19. KU31s are what I'll get next. (Unless Bob Jane's stuffs up again)
  20. What dimensions are they? Any idea what tyres and size you're gonna go for?
  21. That's the wiring for the Stock Boost solenoid. It's been cut and Earthed (in a previous life) for the High Boost Mod. (7psi fulltime) Shrink wrap or electrical tape will be fine. It's only an earth wire so no biggy. Fuel gauge sounds like like sender or wiring... perhaps the previous owner also tried to Earth the fuel pump and got the wrong wire. (earthed the sender instead?)
  22. That's really Fuucked but it could've been worse I guess. I'd be Spewin' if it happened to me or mine. Still, I hope the little sh!ts cop it and get a fat dose of Karma too.
