Hmmm... Looks 1.5 ish. Is the engine S1 or S2? Green lable AFM or Pink? Seperate Ignitor for coils or not?

So you can't hear the pump priming? Give the tank underneath with a rubber mallet while trying to start it. (need 2 people) This can jolt the pump enough to get it spinning, sure sign it's dying. Still think it could be a relay though...

Check ALL Fuses and Relays. Even disconnect and reconnect the ECU. I discovered I had a relay in the 31 playing up. Fuel pump would not always prime but once it did, the car would start and run fine. Replaced the Relay and it's been perfect ever since.

Maybe, maybe not... I can feel my blood boiling. f**kin disgrace. Thinking something and acting upon it are two VERY DIFFERENT concepts. Keep in your pants.

Thought I'd dig this up again as I have a couple more related / unrelated questions... (no I haven't tried to increase my alarms volume yet) Q1: Recently my alarm has been making a weird intermittent chirp for a minute or so after startup. (same high pitch as when re-arming with the key) As I have been driving the 31 alot lately, my 33 has mostly been parked and therefore hasn't been charging regularly. Could this be the problem or is the backup battery in the alarm starting to die? (can they be replaced?) Q2: My R31 has an immobiliser in it that uses a weird little Dongle thing that you have to put in a hole to start the car. What is this immobiliser and can I easily get a spare dongle just in case?

It's actually ALOT quieter at WOT due to all 12 studs being intact, plus it's just bolted to the stock exhaust. it does sound a little nicer at idle and has a slightly nicer growl at 1500 - 2000 rpm but mostly Very Quiet. I will either... a) get Roadway to do a 2.5" steel exhaust for $440 (quoted) or b) buy enough pipe and bends on Ebay and get a mate with a welder to give me a hand....

Is your R33 series 1 or series 2? Series 1 has ONE ignitor to run the coils, series 2 has an ignitor on each coil.

This^^^ Highly unlikely the car has gone. If the reason you got kicked out is truly that bad, then you know it and should have the remorse. There is alot more important things in this world and your Family / Mum is one of the most important. As I have met her twice, She seems like a nice and good lady.
