  1. You should be happy.
  2. Sounds like faulty sensor to me.
  3. Umm, it's done 100k (probably more like 150-200) and you're not going to replace the timing belt??? You should. If your coild packs aren't breaking down and causing misfiring then why replace them? I say wait until they die. I'd consider doing the fuel pump anyway. Reliability mod. Get a 2nd hand GTR pump. Oil cooler would be a good idea, radiator probably not necessary at current power levels. If you are happy with the power level then wait until the turbo dies. It probably will at some stage, but maybe not for a while. After death, then go GCG highflow. Either that or sell your current one and buy a dead one for them to rebuild/high flow to offset the cost. My R34 has no brake issues but I understand R33's do get some fade. I don't know if braided brake lines help there but I would think that it would be just as effective and much cheaper just to replace the ones you have with the same spec. Do you bleed your brakes often? Maybe some other suspension work should be considered? Caster kit? Camber kit? HICAS lock?
  4. I get about that many k's. Get us some L/100Km figures and then we can make a better judgment. For all we know you could be filling up 40L instead of 50-55. I've also got a consult cable which connects to my laptop and logs just like paul is saying. I recall SK saying that with cams it can make the car run rich in the mid range so maybe since that's where you spend all your time driving... Also, has your idle been raised slightly compensate for roughness induced by the cams? Only a couple of hundred rpm can have a huge impact on fuel use.
  5. Merli is.

  7. Only if he doesn't have some track rims and semislicks at home.
  8. Hi guys, A few of us hae been organising the Show and Shine now for a few months (there is a lot more to it than meets the eye) and we are getting to the pointy end of things. A few people have approched me and offered their help which is great (I have your names and contacts guys thanks very much) but we need more people. Basically we need people to cook the bbq, sell drinks and merchandise, help with entries, put judges results in a spreadsheet and a few other little things. We're not trying to make you work all day or anything like that so the more volunteers we have the less work for everybody. You can still be entered and help because we are planning on a roster type situation so you know when you are required. Please reply if you can help and indicate if you are entering or have already entered. Thanks heaps. Adam.
  9. Umm... 7:30 is the booking but 8 would be a the latest arrival I think. Bob R31girl Duncan Kel Shonen Beer Boy Blitz damuscat x 2 kabab Merli 88silhouette = 10.6
  10. My 1968 HG Brougham had electric windows.
  11. This seems like a good thread to ask my question. I have a stock NEO RB25 and want to run more boost. Tuner says put a thicker head gasket in to lower the compression ratio. I say, pull some timing from the tune and I don't need to. Sydneykid says, "Personally I don't believe in thick head gaskets, they cause other problems." I think he is referring to the change in quench/squish (Are these terms completely interchangable?). Does that sound right? What exactly will be the effect on quench if I put a thicker head gasket in? How is this bad? Sorry for so many questions. As soon as you learn enough about turbos along comes quench and who knows what next! I've only just started looking at spark plugs...
  12. I don't have it. I thin kthe body kit is the only option I got.
  13. Check your battery terminals for corrosion and also to make sure it's all bolted together tight. I think it is wiring related, something has come loose. Your battery is probably ok or you would have mentioned that it goes flat. It could be a stuffed alternator although probably not or your battery would be dead. One other thing I just though of; if there is a short somewhere in your brake light circuit it could cause problems. Maybe there is a wire hanging loose near your brake pedal. Do your brake lights work? Do they cause other lights to go dim with engine off?

  15. When LPG is turned into gas you get a cooling effect from the expansion I think. As for upper cylinder lubrication - I think you're referring to old school cars that ran on super which had lead in it to lubricate the valves and what not. ULP cars already have hardened valve seats so LPG wouldn't be a problem. I'm guessing that the power limit has something to do with the size of the aperture. Ie they had to work out how to get 4mm opening and closing at the same speed as 0.2mm (or whatever normal injectors are). Probably getting more than 4mm is hard and therefore creates the power limit you are referring to.
  16. It's closer to Newy than Sydney. Link to membership form and also the membership thread is in my sig.
  17. I thought that must have been you because you beeped me. I beeped back. After you passed I thought maybe I was mistaken and it was a 2 door because your inner 2 tail lights dont work/aren't connected. Brand new (80 km only) transmission so I wasn't able to have any fun.
  18. Those Defi ones look awesome. I notice the centre dash material is different to mine. (Mine is same as E-Lu_Shuns) I guess they had to remove a bit of plastic to get them to fit because they llok slightly bigger.
  19. I might have a pic. It's not too bad body roll wise.
  20. East Coast
  21. On NEO I had to remove the top of the plenum. Tried for hours to do it without.
  22. I've got the same thing. I think maybe shockies are stuffed or bushes are worn.
  23. I know it's not what you want but I have the silver ones if you end up wanting to paint them. let me know.
