Seriously tho you should string this muppet along with a inventive id of your design and eventually send them a cardboard cut-out of your car -

Prolly losing the off street drags in '11 because of a miss shift forced the change to sequential? Absolute animal of a daily driver Was a shame i didnt get out to see her -
As stated, chasing a stock r34 gtr airbox. Show me what you got.

Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them
Stewie Griffin replied to ZigenGT's topic in Suspension, braking and tyres
Yeah i probably shouldnt really be comparing them. Alot happens in tyre technology in 5 years. Mind you kuhmo tyres are fairly decent these days. Good enough to sort of tame a 650hp jza80 (if thats even possible) -

Tissues are overrated. My pink pokerdot hanky will do fine If the rsr's are half as good as ad08's then that is serious value for money. Mite have to get hold of some & conduct some back to back testing on lakeside. Anyone care to loan me a set for a day? -
97 Bcnr33 Vspec/ 99 Bnr34 V Spec Build
Stewie Griffin replied to JDM33's topic in Projects, Overhauls and Build-ups
Very nice pair of R's Raimie. Needs some led tailights too. But at 1200 bucks a set i can't justify the cost. What does the tarzan sensor in the 33 feeling like? Make it handle abit more like the 34? -
Yeah I'd have that and sell it to buy a 34 ztune, resprayed in midnight purple 3. Or even a de-stickered mine's 34. 35's are like the half decent looking fat chick you take home after being knocked back by the hotties. But if money really was no option, the original maclaren f1. In silver. Side profile looks like a silver .223 round, should be hunting down werewolfs.

Warm up time was minimal as all tyres on the gtst were essentially road tyres. Toyo's had similar dry weather grip and treadwear to the yoko's but wet weather the yoko's won hands down. -
35 Sexy?! If your into fat chicks that are really, really good in the cot. But whatever floats ya boat i spose

Horses for courses i suppose. After having a set of SS's on a 33 gtr i will never buy federal tyres again. Had fairly decent bridgestones & toyos on a 300kw 33 gtst but the best tyres i had on her were yoko S drives. Now having a r34 gtr i chose to shod her with ad08's. Yoko aren't on the cheap side of the scale for good reason but if your car is for street dutys & occassional track days you really can't compare, they are the complete package. Leave the federals for tyre frying drift sessions, that's all they're good for -
Os Giken Str Flywheel Bolts?
Stewie Griffin replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Yeh seen it first hand on a mates big hp jza80 & my old xe falcon with about 5hp at the crank. Incorrect torque & old, unpreped bolts. Do it once, do it right -

Stewie Griffin replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Flywheel to crank bolts i take it? Should imagine so. Measure the mating surface on new flywheel as compared to old one will be your answer. For the sake of not having to pull the box out again use new bolts as have seen old bolts shear on more than one occassion. -
Would agree with you on the lakeside track Richard. I'm from the northside as well and away for 3 weeks out of the month for work. Me and a few mates are looking at booking lakeside for 1 day over the xmas new year period so if your interested in coming out for a few laps and a bbq shoot me a pm. Cheers Adam

Good evening all, Recently had the selector bush replaced in my babies getrag. Anyways long story short, very occassionly when idling at a set of lights she has no clutch. Could air in the system cause this or possibly changing the bush out has loosened tolerences up to the input shaft causing it to not be in gear until there is heaps of load on the gearset? Thoughts?
