  1. Just a note that I have the Whiteline springs from this group buy for sale if anyone wants them. They are brand new and have only been taken out of the box to been have a look at. I'm after $250 plus postage so if you're after a set of springs PM me and save some dollars. Hope you don't mind Gary.
  2. Location? Are they pumped guards on your car? Would they fit on an R34 without flaring/pumping?
  3. Ok front bar is no longer for sale but the rearbar and sideskirts are for sale again.
  4. Haha see how good the sideskirts look Stan? I know you want them.
  5. Just got a lip fitted to my R34 guys, whats your opinions? I personally reckon it looks pretty good but I may spray the middle black 'SKYLINE' part to same colour as the front bar. The cars at stock height at the moment and its already pretty low, hope its not too low when I get my coilovers back and drop the height abit.
  6. Any delays with the DFA units or the hand controllers Shan? Just send me a PM when you get the units and we'll organise a pickup time.
  7. Cheers Gary, good to hear. Would installing this DFA possible sort out my R&R problem? At 70% throttle at 5000rpm I hit a very viscous jerk that flings me forward then a second later the car accelerates only to have it happen again. I'm assuming this is R&R? At flat throttle I can feel a few flat spots as well that basically makes the car feel very slow. Nothing as viscous as the scenerio above but noticable enough to realise that you aren't making full potential power. What could this be and could the DFA possible fix this as well? Thanks!
  8. Originally had a BMW 328i Coupe as first car, then wanted something faster as my brothers R33 220-230rwkw GTS-T felt good to drive. So then owned a GTi-R for almost two years and then wanted to go back to something smooth like the Beemer but didn't want to the sacrifice power. Loved the R34, test drove a few, found a bargain so I picked it up. I'm now a happy owner of approx. 6 months and I doubt I'd be selling this anytime soon.
  9. Gary, I believe the stock R33/R34 ECU's have self learning functions where they automatically adjust themselves when the car is driven. Given this, would the DFA (and other piggyback units such as e-manage and SAFC) have problems with the adjustments made by bending the voltages? i.e. if the ECU decides to change its values do the voltage benders constantly need readjustments?
  10. Payment sent Shan, PM sent as well. Any idea how long it'll take for the items to come in?
  11. Hey if its not too late can you put me down for the DFA and hand controller? Thanks, Andy
  12. Hmmm.. so does that mean my car isn't pushing to its full potential at 100% throttle then?
  13. I get the first part, but at full throttle shouldn't the amount of airflow the AFM is sensing still be more then what the ECU would usually allow? Of course there would be a higher threshold for more air at higher TPS but one would assume R&R is even more likely to kick in at 100%?
  14. Hey all, I just took the car for a proper test drive and I've noted a few symptoms when the car is on higher boost. From what I've researched so far it seems that I am definately hitting the infamous rich and retard, but whats weird is that it only kicks in at partial throttle (70%) but does not at full throttle. The car viscously stops like power is cut at 5000rpm and then kicks back in and then does it again towards redline. This is the true effect of R&R yes? But when at 100% throttle the viscous cuts do not happen, what happens instead is that it doesn't feel like the car is pulling smoothly as it should. There would be very small and hard to feel stutters and flat spots towards redline. If the above at 70% throttle is R&R, then what am I experiencing at 100%? So why does the power cuts happen at 70% and not 100% throttle? Car is R34 GTT. Mods are turbo-back exhaust, fmic, apexi pod and profec B2 set to 12psi. I tapped up the coilpacks earlier today and with those runs above I didn't hear any actual mis-firing but scenerio 2 (100% throttle) could very well feel like it. Thanks, Andy P.S - yes I've done a fair bit of searching over the past few days but couldn't find anything directly relating to my partial throttle problem so please keep the 'flaming' to limited if this has been covered before.
  15. Cheers will do, thats probably why the car felt abit laggier.
  16. Ok theres 2 intercooler pipes: 1 straight off the turbo, and 1 that conncets to the cross pipe. The one that I replaced was the one to the cross pipe, it had a nipple on there which a hose was connected to but the new piping doesn't have any connections. Thats the hose in the picture in the first post where The turbo side intercooler pipe also has a nipple which now has a hose going to my boost solenoid, then solenoid to the actuator. Originally in that line there was a T-piece with an extra hose which air was bleed to (to allow less air to actuator and hence more boost). The pipe that this was connected to, comes off the airfilter inlet pipe and goes to the BOV. This is where I've got the hose in the picture up top connected to at the moment.
  17. Hose in the picture was connected to stock SMIC piping. The hose its now joined with was off the T-piece that solenoid/wastegate was hooked to.
  18. mad082: I belive that unit is indeed linked to power steering as when I move the steering that loose hose starts to SUCK air. Is it the power steering unit? Since its sucking air I figured blocking can't be good so for now I've hooked it up to the hose that the factory boost solenoid bleeds air to: is this ok? P.S - the stock wastegate is now controlled via profecB ebc.
  19. Haha you bastard, I thought you may have been as I did a search and its actually QUIBBLE.
  20. Bump, anybody have any idea what I should do with the hose? I need to go for a drive soon and would prefer knowing that I won't stuff something up.
  21. Thanks for the quick reply M. It was plugged into the cold(?) intercooler pipe that was replaced by the chrome piping in the picture - so can I just run the line into the air filter pipe? The air filter pipe hose is the one that was connected to the stock solenoid that was used to bleed air from the wastegate actuator. P.S - what does the quoibble do?
  22. Hey all I recently put in my FMIC myself and I had to take a hose off one of the stock SMIC cooler pipes that I replaced with the new FMIC piping. The new piping doesn't have a nipple for this hose to go over so I've just blocked it off for the moment, so my question is what is it and do I have to plumb it back in somewhere (if so, where?) or can I just leave it blocked off? Or I leave it open to air? And whats that unit which the hose is coming from? Thanks all! Andy
  23. Would it be missing at low boost at light throttle or heavy acceleration only Howie?
  24. Howie: the question is how much of the module do I actually cover up? Bl4cK32: thanks for the advice will look into it. Now heres a question: figured I'd ask here. If my coilpacks were the root of this problem, would I feel mis-firing/stuttering at lower boost levels? Or only when boost is fired up? Trying to figure out if its R&R or the coilpacks/spark.
