Good thing I came across this thread. I'm in process of doing a suspension makeover for the GTT and was thinking of getting the front castor/radial bushes, front and rear camber kits and already have the Noltec subframe bushes from the GB (thanks Bl4cK32 - trader rating on its way). Since I'm already planning to order stuff from Whiteline I was wondering if I should pay the extra $120~ for the pineapples or not? Would I see much benefit from the pineapples if I already plan to fit the subframe bushes? Also, any idea how much I should be looking at to get front castor kit, front and rear camber kit, subframe bushes and coilover height adjustment? Or should I give it a go at doing it myself and just pay for allignment - if its possible? Cheers all, Andy

I guess you guys are right, I should get something like a PFC first before I go looking at upgrading turbos.

Hey, I'm in for one of these. God knows I hate taking off the sump plug after driving the car around for the the oil to get hot and runny.

Excellent news, becuase thats what I was hoping to hear. I don't mind spending the $$ on a new turbo but to spend another 1.5-2k for a PFC + tune is another big step. Does anybody know how different the Stagea ECU's are to an R34? SydneyKid? I believe you run these turbos both on a GTT an Stagea? Do either of them have engine management upgrades?

Hey all, Been a while but I've finally been bitten by the modding bug again. Thinking of getting a new turbo for the R34, namely the GCG Hiflow but a thought occured: How will it cope without an ECU upgrade? Is it possible to have a car running nicely without an engine management modifications, leaving the stock ECU to handle things? Will I run into problems such as the infamous "rich and retard" where the afm senses too much air tries to compensate by retarding timing and adding more fuel? Those with upgraded turbos and stock ECU, can you guys tell me how your car runs? Thanks, Andy

Hey, do you have the passenger side window switch inside the door panel? Like the module/clip where you plug the loom into. Mines faulty and I think I need a new one.

Hey all After much effort trying to sell my rims I've decided I will keep them as they're damn nice rims. The only thing is - they are gold and don't suit my silver/grey car so I'm looking to get them painted silver. My rims contain a sort of anodized look and the lip actually looks like polished alloy, would it be possible get lip polished but spokes painted? Heres a picture of my rims to show you what I mean: see how the rim looks shiny gold where as the spokes look like a grainy/matt finish? So does anybody have any experience with painting rims? If so where did you get it done and whats the usual cost to do this? Recommendations on where to go to get this kind of thing done would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Andy

Thanks for the update mate. I haven't started my suspension make-over yet but will most probably be cracking into it at the end of this month, do you think its possible we'll recieve the bushes by then Darren? I'm in the 2nd buy.

Can people stop giving or PMing me stupid offers like $20 for the gearknob. If you're going to make an offer please make it reasonable as 1/3 of the original price is just plain dumb.

Gold rims will look sweet on blue cars. Just look at Rally Blue STIs and the colour of stock GTR rims: GOLD. Can't say that the Bayside R34 GTR doesn't look nice now can you? Buy them mate - they're a bargain. You would always get them painted if you don't like them.
