I am ripping all of the aircon out of my R32 GTR, but I will be retaining the electric blower fan for demisting along with an electric heater element. I would like to retain the standard air blower because it fits neatly in its original spot and can suck cold air from outside if need be. The only thing is it uses electric actuators to control the flaps inside the system. Where the loom plugs into the actuators there are four pins. Does anyone know which pins are what? Any tips on working out which ones do what? I have some ideas but other ideas are always helpful. Thanks Josh

My friend was co-driving in that black GTR and did the 1:20 around sandown at the vic dutton, not bad for his first time in the car at that track.

aircon parts. The fan, condensor and control unit are still available make an offer ZEES front pipes, 3" pipes from the back of the dump pipes into a 3.5" pipe. Bolt up to the standard dump pipes perfectly. Chrome plated mild steel, some rust spots (size of a grain of rice) from stone chips. Quality is very good. SOLD Kakimoto 3" mild steel catback exhaust, 2 large barrel shapped mufflers and a massive chrome tip on the end, comes with hooks to hook into exhaust mounts. No rust. You will probably find your diff gears have worn through the case hardening aswell.

Are any of them the N1 sideskirts with the bit that comes down at the back of the side skirt?

Inconel is also very stable under high temperatures. Can be heat treated with next to no warping.

Thats max horsepower. What turbo's did they use? I think alot of people forget that the goal of porting sometimes isn't just for outright power, but for improvements in midrange power. ie street use and circuit racing.

Im glad I read this. Maybe thats why in the Gibson GTR there is an alloy plate on the drivers side floor, maybe with insulation under it?

Slowly. Once I get the engine out hopefully this weekend the car should come apart pretty quickly. After thinking about, there aren't many colours that look good on a R32 apart from the standard range of colours, so I will stick with white and the nismo stripes to finish it off.

Thats because its a holden. Even if the shocks were good, the rest of the car is rubbish (just my biased, uneducated opinion LOL)

not my cup tea. I am starting to think I might keep it white, with nismo stripes or go gunmetal grey. I am struggling to think of a colour that will look good by itself. maybe I need a fancy 2 tone paint job, or tart it up with some vinyl decals. (not fast and the furious style or rice for that matter)

From what you have said it sounds like the clutch is jammed open (if that is possible). Take it back to the guys who put the clutch in and see what they say. I recommend (if possible) you be there while they pull the gearbox out to see for yourself what has happened.

Have you worn through new ones?

That combo of rims and paint looks nice. Which ever colour I go for I plan to get some BBS LM's in either silver, white or gold centre. My favourite rim. So even if I got the colours computer mixed, and went back to the same place to get the paint, would it be similar?

I was thinking about bayside blue, looks good on a R34.

People probably thrash their cars while they are cold, that doesn't help. I saw a guy get into his car the other day, switched the car on, gave it couple of revs and he was off, all within a few seconds. That is just asking for it.
