  1. im keen, PM sent. thanks
  2. breathers - intake/exh valve covers - catch can - intake pipe. how is this return flow? I dont just want the can 'sealed' i want the oil in the catch can to be put back into the system. oil seperator? if its plumbing into the intake pipe, thats all well and good, but where can i tap into to allow the oil from the can to drain back into the oil system of the car? Surely someone out there must have this set up on an rb20... does anyone know if its ok for me to tap back into the sump/oil filler neck? this will effectivley relieve all pressure from the oil system as i have a hose going from the catch can to the intake pipe before turbo. cheers
  3. Was that the one that was returning to the turbo oil drain?
  4. can anyone help me out? is bad to essentially have the dipstick venting to atmo? surely the oil system couldnt be getting up to much pressure seeing as the dipstick just sits there?
  5. I know catch cans have been covered to death, and I have searched a few times and found some results, but not 100% what I'm looking for. I've got an r32 rb20 with a eBay catch can. The can has two inlet/ outlets at the top, and A drain plug at the bottom. My plan is to take the hose off the intake (just before afm) and plug it to the catch can, then take the other inlet/outlet and plug it back into the intake to relieve any pressure from crankcase etc (I noticed it makes a fair bit of vacuum) Then to recirculate the can I'm going to weld on a piece of alloy pipe on the drain at the bottom of the can, and then clamp a hose from that to the port where my dipstick is. Can anyone see a problem I'm missing? I know the can will catch f**k all, but I like the idea of having it 1) legal and 2) maintenance free. Thanks.
  6. just wanted to dig up this old thread and ask some questions, i want to plumb my catch can (r32 rb20) back into the oil system, but dont know how. Any tips? At the moment ive just taken the hose off the intake pipe and put it to my catch can. So only one of the two nipples on the catch can has a hose on it, the other one is just to atmo. thanks !
  7. hey mate, whats the width? cheers, Josh
  8. thanks for all the welcomes *under closer inspection, its an r33 highflowed ballbearing turbo. so a bit of moneys been spent on it. and to answer a feq questions, i like disconnecting the FWD setup when i want to slide it, and just bought and installed an Apexi AVCR, sooo much better! couldnt be happier with how the car drives now! no boost drop off in high rpms, more stable boost, comes on earlier and smoother etc etc. took a while to tune but well worth the money. and why wont a normal skyline engine fit!? what about r32 gtr? they use the same awd setup yeh? aannnddd, thats all the questions i can remember thanks for the help/inputs guys. in the coming weeks im getting nistune ecu, 16psi, forward facing intake plenum, HKS adjustable cam gears (any one know much about driveability changes/performance *if any* from cam gears with stock cams??) catch can, bigger injectors and putting in my bosch 909 fuel pump (anyone know how many horsies a 909 will handle in an rb20?) hopefully she'll boogie then been told to expect around 220-230RWKW? currently making around 180-190 i believe.
  9. hey mate, will u split the shroud? im in adelaide also. pm sent.

  14. the mechanism works, however the little pin that lets go of the fuel flap doesnt quite go in far enough, it doesnt allow the flap to spring out. it needs adjustment or some sort, but i need to know where i can/if its adjustable. thanks for the help guys
  15. As title states, im after; -standard r32 steering wheel, -standard r32 floor mats -r32 2 door left hand reverse light cover, -r33/r32 gtr seats (willing to swap for isotta race seats?) -r32 dash surround, and center consol surround (swap for a red surround, painted propperly?) -forward facing intake plenum (pm me with what you have) -NIStune ecu if anyones got one lying around their itching to get rid of PM ME! with anything you have, im on here pretty often so i can read my PM's. Cheers, Josh.
  16. if your parting, ill take the steering wheel (if its standard) and the left hand reverse light cover? PM me if this is ok.
  17. *edit latch works, except pin that disengages and allows fuel flap to swing open does not pull in far enough when pressing fuel flap open lever. is there anywhere i can adjust it? cheers.
  18. as title says, i have a (had it for a month) 1989 r32 gts4 skyline, and cant f*ucking drive it because i cant open the panel that is ment to spring open when pushing the lever. ive had a look as well as i can (race seats dont make shit easy) and the latch moves and has a rod connected to it etc etc. however to open my tank you have to push the lever down, lever seems dodgy however has worked many times. i popped my boot and tried to see if i there was anything looking out of wack, but the whole cars dynomatted so cant see squat. please help! if i dont get it fixed i cant fill up and get to work!!! aarrgghhh thanks, Josh.
