Haha yeah, redline and economy don't exactly go hand in hand
-
Ive read on here multiple times people saying e85 is cheaper, but you use more lf it so it ends up more expensive. But e85 seems to be about 25-30% cheaper than 98. If you use 25- 30% more fuel, wouldnt you assume itd end up equal? (obviously depending on how you drive.) *im no mathematician
-
Better run your car on 91 octane then because 98 is 1.80 per liter (if your in Adelaide)
-
1. Buy a big jerry can 2. Buy a daily for long road trips Solved
-
Interesting, I can't think of a reason why any skyline wouldn't be running e85 if it wasnt a daily and had access to a pump.
-
Just curious, what gains in performance are there from a lightly modified standard turbo car? I have a friend with the following mods who wants e85 but I think the money is better spent elsewhere... Anyway: Eg rb25 with standard turbo, 12psi, standard motor, pod, fmic, nistune, 3" exh etc? Making around 190-200rwkw, could he expect the same increases in power as someone with 300rwkw going from 98 to e85?
-
I know it won't bolt on, was just curious if it would physically fit in the stock location. I'm not keen on a .63 anyway, just saw one come up cheap
-
Does anyone know if a gt3082 will fit on std mani low mount? How will the .63 rear go? Have e85 & 256/264 cams.
-
Thanks heaps for that, the cars in the shop untill later today / tomorrow. Ill get those numbers ASAP. Cheers

I'd rather the stickers at this point, but I will keep that in mind, thanks man

The turbos on the car now, it's going to be tuned this week, but I had a good look at it before it went back on, and it looked identical to that photo. Same size & style wheel

Hi Stao, I don't have a rb25det turbo, how big a job is swapping over a turbo housing? Could I just put an op6 rear housing on it to free up some power in the upper rev range? Lol am I going to have some 190kw idle spooling turbo if I leave it how it is? Im just going to use this turbo to run the new motor in, eventually ill get an internal gate ss2 off you. No more highflows for me
-
I've just been told the rb25 highflow I thought I had is actually an rb20 highflow does anyone know how much the tiny rear housing will flow on a rb25? I know it's going to choke power, but can anyone shed some light on roughly how much it'll make on a rb25 with all supporting mods + 256/264 cams and e85? I'm wondering if I should try get a op6 rear housing or just leave it as it is and get a hypergear in the coming months... Cheers

Hey mate, is that a badge? Or a sticker? I've seen a few Nissan badges and gts4 badges but I'm after the grey sticker that it came with standard
-
That link has the numbers, but no pictures to go with them so you don't know which decal it is I'm ordering, I can't believe how difficult it is to find OEM stickers
-
That's to suit gtr, the gtr's have a badge not the grey 'Nissan' sticker I'm after
-
Rhd only have a 'nismo' one and a 'gt' one
-
Hi, Can anyone help me out with the dimensions of the r32 gts4 rear 'nissan' and 'gts-4' decals so I can get some decals made up? Or can anyone tell me where to get them? Cheers
-
I'd just get bigger injectors / pump and get it all tuned at once with the ss1. The money you'll spend on the re-tune you could have almost done the fuel system. I just sold brand new unopened id1000's for $500 and bought a walbro 400lph new for $190. A tune will usually set you back $500-$600
