Ooooh No!!!!!!! just what we dont need another dodgy importer /note}/ car for sale in no way affiliated with the Skylines Australia Car club. car may or may not be dodgy. Please check car well b4 purchasing
  3. Things going on? a few happy laps, socialising, swimsuit competitions LOL But seriously the cars on the track go round and round EC, around 20 sec apart, trying to beat their previous best lap time. Its a great day out, and if you have a helmet and L/S shirt, someone will usually offer you a ride out on the track if you ask nicely. Note: I have a list a mile long of people game enough to ride with me in my new skyline on my first time out at EC in a GTR. look forward to seeing everyone there akira - Team Trackdays latest addition
  4. Majanal, please put in in the slow- ass group Duncan, please check your PM. look forward to seeing everyone there

  10. Just join SAU, turn up to the AGM and get given a position on the committee. yeah Dino, just having a dig mate. Just seems a bit silly to have the venue in a remote part of Sydney then bitch about so few people turning up. Doesnt worry people like me and you cause we live so close, but a suggestion would be to hold the meetings in a centralised location. Or we could change the name of the club to Skylines Northern Beaches. keep up the great work...and dont forget to keep looking after yourselves.
  11. Re: small turnout.... well what do you expect when you have a venue as far away from public transport thus excluding some members.!!! next time please consider other members and have the common sense to hold the AGM at a venue easily accesible to all. ( eg: Strathfield or somewhere similar) Just remember...not everyone lives on the Northern Bitches.
  12. Sorry dude, I'm down for head chocko . So far theres 3 habibs and 1 chocko. Whos gonna be the roundeye?
  13. I'll second that nomination But who'sgonna be head Habib?
  14. If it aint broke...... The current SAU committee is tip top in my book. So Prank, Dino, Two40, Shell and Majanal can count on my vote. good luck to you all PS: to all other candidates...I take bribes , and wont be running for any vacant positions
  15. Ben, when I put in a GTR fuel pump and Malpassi fuel Reg in my old car I had a similar problem. I had to get the ECU re- tuned because the extra fuel threw out the settings of the fuel map Might be a good place to start looking. Good luck akira
  16. Dont worry Mrfrontmount....Its just that we dont play well with others good luck with your cruise. Hopefully you and your friends will show your fast forum buddies what really good driving is all about

Fatz, Glad to hear that no-one was able to steal your car. Hope the Bastards get whats coming to them. You'll have to keep Bella in the car as a watch dog For my car, i'm gonna need - 2 plastic seat covers - 1 well trained rottwieler attack dog
  20. Fats R32 GTR is well looked after and well worth the money.
  21. Hello everyone... well, its fully hectic for anyone importing a car, with May 7th 2003 being the cutoff date under the current system. While some things are changing, life at the docks are still the same. My boost guage and gear knob went missing somewhere between the Shipping container and the docks. Other importers have had stuff ripped off their cars also. If anyone knows of anyone selling an unusually large amount of gear knobs or guages etc, give me a PM, especially if they look like a wharfie Secondary car cleaning and quarrantine has taken me 6 days, up from 1 or 2 days. Compliance Centres are flat out, but a big shout out to Shogun Racing imports at North Parramatta, for compling my car before the cutoff date. Now for a 2 to 3 week wait for a compliance plate to come from canberra....... Then Rego....3rd tier and then... Cruising:D anyone else going through hoops with the current system?
  22. Oh,... and whatever you do, DO NOT buy from import car yards. Especially in Sydney. Unless you want to pay top dollar and get a so called warranty. Just my 2 cents
  23. Try Alex at Performance Imports. His mobile # is 0422 885 387. He will charge you a set fee for his services, then import the car of your choice. He takes away the hassle of paperwork, headaches etc. It might take a while for all importers and Govt to decide on the new import laws, so be patient. good luck
