  1. Put simply, the GT-R has always had two turbos and four wheel drive. If it was an R35 Skyline, there may be the option for a rear wheel, single turbo. But because we're talking about a GT-R, not a Skyline per se, it will always have two turbos and four wheel drive.
  2. It would have been said by now, I'm sure... but there is really no point doing anything to correct you headlights without a clear coat over the top. Otherwise you can practically count three months.
  3. Oh man... I want a black HCR32 so bad... If this were four/five weeks from now, I would have just bought a plane ticket.

    Roadtrip!

I think with all the potential QLD members between Cairns and Brisbane, I should probably drive... I'm sure it would be cheaper to drive, I'm just trying to avoid the worst condition and most boring roads in Oz. =/ All well, small sacrifice.
  5. Ugh... I'm planning on travelling from Cairns to Perth some time early this year. As cool as it would be, my car isn't a transformer. I can't change stuff at every boarder damnit.
  6. Driving the 34 around the country, hopefully meeting a bunch of you freaks. =D
  7. I think you're looking at this the wrong way. It's foremost a GTR. Not a Skyline or R35, but a GTR. You can't have a GTR GTS-t. By definition. This^.

    Roadtrip!

Sounds even better. Will get back with firm departure date A.S.A.P. and will work out the route via Skyline owners shortly afterwards.

Ah geeze, Jippo is right. I'm pretty damn sure I can't take the cars off any place before Brisbane either. Err... Hmm... Going to have to reconsider the Sunlander again. Might have to put up with lots of FNQ for the sake of Skylines.

Consider it done. Very pleased to see the first post is a goer. Can tick Mackay off the list/map!

    Roadtrip!

Good Morning SAU Members: Today I am here for a few reasons. Foremost, some time this year I am moving from Cairns to Perth and very specifically will be driving my R34 GT-t the whole way. If funds allow I will be picking up a R32 GT-R either when I reach Brisbane, or shortly before I leave Cairns. This is an excellent opportunity for me to both meet many of you and also shoot many of your cars. The hope would be (on top of the documentary of the trip via GoPro) that I can make a nice album featuring all walks of Skylines over the entire country (exc. Tas, sorry). Obviously I’m hoping some of the high rollers will let me shoot some of the rarer Skylines, however everything in-between is just as important. I’d like everything from HR31’s, HNR32’s, ENR34’s, etc. Nothing is unwanted. Show level or drift pig. My second wish is a longer shot. If anybody is willing to tag along for any part of the journey it would really complete the experience. Already I will have the ER34 and BNR32. For example, I hope to find at least a few Brisbane folks willing to do the BNE-SYD leg with me. (I’d probably consider marrying anybody who did the entire trip from BNE-ADE (cars are on trains from CNS-BNE/ADE-PER.).). Since I don’t have a date set in stone I won’t try to coordinate any meetings just yet. However I would like to drum up some interest and gauge a feel for how many people would be willing to partake. Participation levels from simply letting me take a photo of your car all the way to packing up the car after the photo shoot and heading for W.A. What I need: People looking to have some fun with their Skylines. What I don’t need: People telling me an ER34 isn’t built for traversing Australia. Thanks for your time guys. I hope to see you on the road! Kindly, Joshua Hellyer. (Note: Only on the QLD forum for now. No point disturbing the other states until we get closer to departing QLD.) Edit: Fixed format.
  13. *Sigh* I really hope there are BNR32's like this around in a few months when I'm in the market again... Good luck with your sale mate. Great looking example.
  14. Wow... If I didn't think I'd lose points for SAU, I'd be jumping for the chance... This is going to be sweet. Definitely have to spectate. P.s. I expect Skylines to win across the board. Edit: X_X Sorry. My question has been answered. Delete.
  15. The difference is the R34 tiptronic is a little less aesthetically pleasing, although it IS a three prong, unlike the prettier but annoyingly four prong Stagea wheel. I still like the Stagea wheel though... from pictures at least.
  16. This. Also, I won't be going either, but thank you for the heads up.
  17. Any shots of the interior there mate? Looks gorgeous so far from where I'm sitting.
  18. X_x For sale a few months early... I'd fly down and grab it otherwise.
  19. Good Morning folks, Just a quick question that somebody will be able to answer pretty quickly: Will a S2 Stagea tiptronic steering wheel fit on my S1 ER34? (Hoping to set up volume control through the tiptronic functions, but that's a story for another day.) Thanks guys, Idaten. Edit: Or any other steering wheels with buttons, that will fit to my ER34?
  20. Last year paid $17, 500 for my manual ER34 coupe with 89, 000km on it.
